One important thing to note if using a USD PayPal account - WISE does not appear in the list of available US banks within PayPal, so you have to enter the routing # and account # manually. The bank's name is Community Federal Savings Bank.

My Wise menu doesn't look like that, I cannot fint my Account Details. I'm based in Australia and trying to link to my PayPal to transfer USD... Update: found my account detaild but I'm not receiving PayPal's small deposits and can't go pass this part.

If you want to link your Wise account with PayPal, all you need to do is: - Log into your PayPal account - Click Add bank account or Card - Click Link bank account - Enter your Wise account details (EUR, GBP or USD) - Click Confirm PayPal will then send 2 small deposits to your Wise account details - it usually takes 1-2 working days to arrive. Once you’ve received them, just log in to PayPal again and enter the deposit amount into the verification box. You can learn more here: wi.se/paypal-wise, and here: wi.se/paypal-link-info. If you have any issue with this, it's best to reach out to PayPal for more guidance. Keep in mind, PayPal only accepts account details if the currency matches the registered PayPal account country. Hey there. In order to receive money into your Wise account, you'll need to have account details and Wise balances. However, this feature is unavailable for personal accounts in India at the moment. To receive money via Wise, you can add your local bank account to your recipient list, and mark that as a primary account. That way, when another Wise user sends you money via your email address, it goes straight to your marked primary account. Hi there. You don't have to have money in your Wise account, in order to use it. But, please keep in mind, that in order to get Wise account details (which are used to receive money), we do ask you to add 20 USD (or the equivalent in your currency) first. Just like you'd make an initial deposit when opening an account at a bank, this is one of the ways we verify our customers as a regulated financial institution. Once you've added the money to your Wise account, you're free to use your account details to send and receive as you'd like. Hi Riyaz, our Balances and Account details feature isn't available for personal customers in India, so you can't receive money if that's the case. Hello there. We're not sure how long it takes for PayPal to deposit 2 small ammounts, you should check this with them. But in most cases, banks don't count weekends as working days, and if it usually takes 2 working days for deposits to get credited, then we would recommend that you wait alteast 2 working days. Hey, MV. So Step 3 would be the verification step, where PayPal sends microdeposits to your Wise account. This process is usually pretty quick - Almost instant 🙂

If you're trying to link your PayPal account to your Wise account, you can go into the balances of the currency you're using and, by clicking on "account details", you'll be able to see all details of the account, including the bank name. Depending on the currency, you can just enter "Wise" as the bank name. But for others, you can click on the interrogation mark right beside "Wise's address" - there, you can see our banking partner in that region and use its name. If you're having trouble, we'd recommend reaching out to PayPal to understand why they're not able to support this as well. It's not clear if I can move different currencies from the same Paypal account to various Wise wallets in my account. The video says if I have a GBP Paypal account I need to get Wise account details in GBP, but I also need to move USD, EUR, AUD and some other currencies from Paypal to Wise. Is this possible?

As of today (January 14, 2025), is this transfer system still valid? I have a Wise card properly linked to my PayPal account, but PayPal only allows me to transfer money to my "regular" bank account, not to the Wise card. I would add that my PayPal account is Italian, and the currency set on both PayPal and Wise is US dollars.

Need help.. I tried to add wise to my PayPal ACH Wire routing number & Account number and PayPal sent to small transections to verify. yet from wise side I'm unable to see those transections to be able to verify. I have tried multiple time and waited more then couple of days with no avail. please help

So please take note that the time it may take for a withdrawal from PayPal to a balance in your account with us by using the account details feature, would depend on whether you choose the Instant or Standard method of payment on PayPal. Right now, it's no longer possible to make a direct transfer between your accounts, and even linking PayPal to Wise, but that doesn't mean you can’t send or withdraw money from PayPal to your Wise account. Instead of direct transfer, you’ll need to use your bank account as an intermediary for the transaction. That it wouldn't be possible to withdraw funds from PayPal to your account with us using your digital card details, as you'll require bank details for this. Does it work with EUR? I am not able to add the wise account in my paypal. I even selected belgium as the country but it says i need to enter IBAN of 16 digits. But the one i copied from wise bank details does have 16 digits

So, if eligible, you should be able to receive from PayPal from Indonesia as long as they accept our account details as a withdrawal account. Wise only provided an IBAN number if you want to receive EURO, if you want to receive USD, the info Wise provide is not a IBAN, so this simply don't work, very disappointing!!! :(

We'd recommend reaching out to PayPal with a proof of account ownership document if you're still having trouble with them sending USD to your Wise balance. Follow the steps here to download this document: 1. Go to the currency account you want the proof of account details document for. 2. Click on More. 3. Select Get proof of account details. 4. Hey. My Wise account says it’s from Belgium but I live in Portugal. Regardless, the IBAN number PayPal asks for is 25 digits whereas the one I have is only 16 digits, 14 being numbers and 2 being the letters BE. What do I do?

Even if you live in Portugal and your Wise account is registered there, your EUR account details will have a Belgium IBAN, as we aren't able to provide an IBAN with a different country code. If you're trying to link your PayPal account to your Wise account, you can go into the balances of the currency you're using and, by clicking on "account details", you'll be able to see all details of the account, including an address. Depending on the currency, you can just enter "Wise" as the bank name. For others, you can click on the interrogation mark right beside "Wise's address" - there, you can see our banking partner in that region and use its name! From there, you can hold up to 40+ different currencies at once. @@Wise I followed this tutorial, up until you have to get the bank account details, I've NEVER deposited any money with wise, so this will be my first time, and like I mentioned I have NO OPTION TO SEE THESE DETAILS UNLESS I do the id, which I have NO issue with, my issue is getting my money from paypal to wise. DO you see the catch 22/circular problem?

Thank You for the info. However it is not working for some people. How does someone who is not a wise card holder sent money from an old fashioned bank account, lets say in the UK, sent money to a wisecard holder in the USA or inanother european country? Would be great to have a working description. Have reviewed some potential explanations but they do not clearly define the issue.

Max, you can receive money from your PayPal account as long as PayPal accepts your Wise account details as a withdrawal bank account. Follow the steps below: 👉 Log into PayPal. 👉 Click Add bank account or Card. 👉 Click Link Bank account. 👉 Enter Wise account details (IBAN for EUR, Account number + sort code for GBP, USD account number and the ACH routing number for USD). 👉 Confirm account details. PayPal will send two microdeposits to the account details provided. These usually arrive to the customer's account in 1-2 business days. Once the deposits are received, log into PayPal again and enter the deposit amount into the verification box. Keep in mind, PayPal accepts Wise accounts as a bank account if the currency matches your registered PayPal account country (e.g. GBP when your address is in the UK). If you have any issues linking your Wise account details, you can also send your proof of account details document for your GBP account. Is it possible to edit our personal account details such as estimated transaction limit while we haven't perform any transaction yet ? Also what happens if we exceed the estimated limit we have choosen ? 2. While adding Debit or credit card for adding balance in our Wise balance does that card need to be of same (person) name or we can link anyone's card and topup balance into our account ? 3. Any time you add money to your account, the name on the external account that you're using must match the name on the Wise account. Is there any wise fee while withdrawing from paypal? I know paypal will cut fee but is there any fee from your end (like payoneer type 30$ yearly fee or 1$ every time I receive a paypal bank transfer in payoneer account)? I am tired of payoneer😢

Hey there 👋 There's no fee to receive money into your Wise account when withdrawing from PayPal. To receive money into your account, you'll need to create account details with us but you'll have to top up your account with 20 GBP (or the equivalent in your currency) and get verified first. I want to add USD wise account, but my PayPal is based in Malaysia MYR. Any other way i could withdraw my USD PayPal to Wise?

Hey there! To withdraw money from PayPal to Wise, you’ll have to first link your Wise account to PayPal. Here’s how to link your Wise account to PayPal online or in the PayPal app: 👉 Log into PayPal online or in-app 👉 Go to Wallet 👉 Click Link a card or bank, then Link a bank account (in the app you just need to tap Banks) 👉 Search for your bank or select it from the list If you can’t find Wise listed, you can still enter your bank account details manually and click Agree and Link. In this case, you’ll need to complete a verification step - 2 small deposits will be sent to your account by PayPal, and you’ll need to enter details of the amounts sent to your PayPal account to verify it. We also share more information about linking your Wise to PayPal in our blog page here: wi.se/paypaltobalances. However, do you mean that your PayPal account is denominated in MYR, but you would like to send it to your USD account details?
