If it have no roots at all, can you still do something about it? Put it in a water or soil?

Chances are that that plant won't survive. But It doesn't hurt to try! Out of the two options, I would probably try throwing it in some water. See what happens!

What happens if the pup has no roots? Will it survive and grow roots on it own and grow?
