This guy needs to do overviews of all the Arturia instruments. That was excellent. By far the most clear and concise overview of the modular v

When he mentions hi hats, that's basically how Assault on Precinct 13's hi hats were done. White noise using the sequencer on a Moog.

If anyone knows how to spell the noise musician he mentions that uses the modular let me know. Sounds like KG Hayanu? Trying different spelling in google and can/t seem to find anything.

Thanks for the great tutorial! Question for Paul- To quiet the occasional deafening pops you suggest a limiter. I wonder if you could go into detail a little bit specifically about how to set up the limiter to prevent that terrible unexpected burst of volume. I’m getting gun-shy about using Arturia plug-ins after blasting my eardrums multiple times. Amazing tutorial, by the way. Just what is needed to get started on the modular V.

Actually in the real machine you can also fan out the same output (like the sequencer) using a multiple. As long as it's buffered and keeps the impedance high before spreading it out to avoid voltage drop -- which in case of a sequencer is disastrous because your basically playing another note.

I listened to a few sections at 50% as I was looking to re-create the patch. That, too, is got a good vibe. In emulating what he'd done, mine came out a bit like the end of Magnetic Fields pt. 1.

Week 1: Listen to Beaver and Krause, Ciani, and an actual rachet. Week 2: Isolate yourself, with plenty of sustenance, with an actual rachet and Arturia Modular V. Week 3: Sample the actual racket, load it up in Pigments, Emulator, Synclavier, CMI, Spark, or other favorite sampler. Do your own work.

This VST looks fantastic. Was this Live streamed earlier than normal? Here in Toronto, Canada 8:00 a.m is just before I arrive at the office and plug in. Is there a usual time to look for these FFL's? THANKS!

Thank you for all that you shared with us! I especially liked the simplicity of just getting some sounds that I can actually play on the keyboard, at the beginning of the video. This is very important. As far as the "sequencing" part of what you showed us ... with all due respect, I find it to be really irrelevant. To me, it's just so "unusable". Who wants to spend time making these goofy little "sequences" which are self-playing like that? Like many others, I"m in awe at the sounds that Walter Carlos created in Switched on Bach, and that was using *this synthesizer* in 1968. His sounds were so full, beautiful, and awesome. Not a single track on his album had weird "sequenced" patches like the one demo'd here. All of Walter Carlos' sounds were thick, musical and completely "usable" -- even for Bach. *That* kind of patch-programming is what I would really like to learn! Do your pay-for courses teach that? If so, could you tell me which ones? Thank you and God bless!

Nothing better to do that push us these ugly apple signs in our face, as if the whole topic of the video are apple laptops. Maybe they even don't think about. It is so idiotic, and I see it often. Its ridicolous because the brand of the laptop doesn't care. Instead they are not able to find a better angle, to see it not as main point. I wound even place a ticker over it. It shall not be illumiated too, to distract.
