You are an amazing instructor. I don’t know whether it is your marketing background, or the fact that you didn’t pick up the game early in life, but you understand the key cues that other instructors take for granted and therefore, cannot address for the beginner and high handicapper. No other instructor gets what you cover in this video. Great stuff, and you are a pleasure to watch for many reasons. Keep up the great work.

Love it. At one point or another each I've found each of these on the range. Two of them together seem to help me most - start down before the backswing is at the top, and plant the left heel firmly. There's a lot to keep in place during the swing, and you simplify it. Thanks!

I adore how clear do you explain things and concepts Chris. I would remark that you help everybody (high handicaps included). To me personally the 5th tip is also the one who helps me more. My teacher says that in reality I don’t advance but as I have that feeling I can “come from inside” and starts movement with the body which is the key of all of this.

Hey Christina - great as always - I do enjoy your videos (and tell others about them). I bought my daughter your book for Christmas and she likes it a lot. There are thousand's of golf 'how to' videos out there. As an older new golfer (68), but in decent shape and reasonable flexibility, - I'd like to know three things to work on. I have pages of notes and it's getting overwhelming. I think my biggest issue is early extension (casting). I know ideally my hands should be in front of my right leg, and a bit low, when the club is parallel to the ground. I have made videos of my swing and I see when my hands are in front of my right leg, the club is at 45 degrees to parallel - not 90 degrees. I am taking 4 lessons - one lesson in as snow here in Colorado has prevented more lessons. I hit the ball pretty well (7 iron 160-175, 5 iron 180-200) and reasonably consistent - but my bottom line, I have too many notes and things to work on - I'd like to narrow it down to 3 things to work on. Thanks for any comments.

(2) lean and up 한다 : 앞쪽으로 살짝 기대면서 swing up 한다. 1) lift lead heel 2) lean up, entire lead side leans 3) lead eye on the back of the ball 4) hands stay put 5) blend back & downswing (before getting to the top)

Hi Christina, Can you use more than one sequence ques? For example, lift left heel and eye behind back of ball.
@rikkousa3 жыл бұрын
It would be interesting to compare all of these different ways to “feel” the right sequence in video. I would not be surprised if all of the swings looked the same, they just have different ways of feeling and how you get through impact. :)
@mirandaslaats13424 жыл бұрын
Great video, you have such a good explanation of feels!! 👍 Lean in before backswing is complete feels not natural for me. My swing sequence does not belong, I tried but it does not work for me. But that is my problem. Thankss

Options, options and more options to initiate our down swing. We simply have to see which one of the good 5 ones you recommend works for us as individuals . Just know that all of them requires timing and some control regardless of which one we choose. So having said this i recently discovered the ‘Push/Push’ method of golf. Simply push your body back in a circular direction with the power of your imaginary 2 lead hands and allow the other parts of your body to push back and rotate as they naturally follow the lead of you lead left hand pushing your body back. At the top of your swing push forward with the power of your imagery 3 trail hand and allow the other parts of your body to follow the lead of pushing forward right to the finish of your swing with the same power lead by your 3 right hand. It may sound insane and stupid; but it works. Because as we push back with our lead hand our trail hand and side are actually pulling back rotationally with the same 2 handed power of our lead hand at the exact same moment. And the reverse is true with our down swing. As Hogan once said on the Ed Sullivan Show: Now isn’t that simple! It Works as it accomplishes automatically any one of the 5 good tips your recommend. Cheers
