This video was a huge time-saver. Thank-you! The instructions that came with the flicker eliminator kit from Siegecraft, which I took delivery of today [Feb 3, 2021] said: "check that the location you're tapping into [with the alligator clip] has 5 volts", which I tried, by connecting to the "TP1" (test point #1) on the lamp driver board -- which resulted in ALL THE LIGHTS BEING CONSTANTLY LIT. As soon as I connected to the exact same spot as shown in your video at [7:49].... Voila! Worked perfectly. Thanks again!

These are great videos, loving this channel! Keep up the great work! These are some of the best and most detailed pinball tech videos on KZbin. The camera work is great and the skill level matches my speed of repair/restoration. You might consider getting a shirt mic setup to ensure consistent voice audio.

I have a 1980 Bally Space Invaders pinball, with what appears to be the identical aux lamp driver board to what you show in the video (AS-2518-23). I ordered the Alltek replacement aux lamp driver board and installed it, then changed out every bulb to LED. The Alltek board did not resolve the flickering. If I buy the Siegecraft daughter boards, should I pull the Alltek board and put back the original aux lamp driver board?

You ever resolve this cause I replaced my Flash Gordon lamp driver with the alltek and it didn’t help. I have not touched the aux lamp driver board though

You have to buy the extra adapters for the aux board as well.

Hello, I hooked up the ground wire to the wrong part of the bulb socket My playfield lights obviously didn't work. I then correctly hooked up the ground and still don't work. I removed the kit and the playfield doesn't work. Did I just ruin the board? Is it probably just a fuse? All the fuses look good.

Do those Seige Craft boards work on Williams system 6 or 7 boards?
@PinballWorkshop6 жыл бұрын
RobsMemoryLane No, just Bally / Stern auxiliary lamp driver boards.

Try banging the flickering bulbs with a meat tenderizing hammer (use the smooth side). Seems to work 75% of the time.

Dude, that's a lamp driver board, not an auxiliary lamp driver board.
