There's also a filter screen in the fuel line banjo bolt right behind the hand primer pump. It doesn't normally get much in it since you have the pre filter screen, but it should be cleaned periodically. Don't lose the copper washers on either side of it when you take it out. The plastic screen unscrews from the fitting. Carriers are the same too.

Yes sir I check it pretty often and only one time I've seen it dirty and that was at first when I got my truck

@@Fltruckriderz Good. I'm an ex refer tech and you wouldn't believe how many no start complaints ended up just being that little screen. Keep it up, good info the diy guy.

@JTMAR3792 жыл бұрын
Actually you can detail the reefer your self if you have time and if you have access to a water hose at your yard👍 and at ice cream shippers require the trailer temp be as low as -15F before they will even load you. they want your unit set at -20F🥶

Never tighten any filter with a band wrench. Only by hand. The engine will seal the filter over time. Geez, this is common sense.

Ha. Bragging at the start about how cheap the filters are. They sure look cheap. Painted black to pretend like they're really as good as OEM Thermo king. If you're trying to save a buck on the filters, you cross them over to fleetguard. You don't buy Chinese junk with toilet paper inside.
