Thanks, this is quite helpful. One question, to which I've not found an answer: what is normal operating temperature? Mine runs at 75°C usually but can get up to 90°C . I'm diagnosing an issue with the cooling system as it does heat up significantly when stationary. The cabin heater is on full, regardless of the heater dial setting too. Not sure if this relates. Any advice you may have is welcome.

According to our manual, the thermostat starts to open at 82°C, and should be fully open at 96°C. So normal operating temperature should be approximately 96°C.

My car has the same overheating problem, I think one of the sensors is broken, directly turn on the radiator engine and see if the temperature drops.

@@HaynesManuals Thanks for the reply. I've kept an eye on it and the temperature climbs to 98 and then the fan does turn. If stuck in traffic the temp may climb another two or three degrees but then quickly falls to 90-92°C. I can kinda see the logic for no temperature dial in this vehicle. Als long as you're driving it receives adequate cooling.

The check light is on, what part do you think is broken,,,,,explanation The engine speed is a little higher than normal. The engine is too hot. The radiator propeller does not rotate, but the engine propeller is healthy The lambda sensor socket does not change when connected and disconnected.

@@HaynesManuals I found the problem of the propeller not turning, the thermal sensor was broken, I replaced it, the check light went off, the engine heat problem was solved, but the car cooler does not work and the wind blows hot.I'm looking for the compressor clutch relay, I don't know which part it is because the sound of the clutch can't be heard when the air conditioner is turned off and on.
