Helical gear is said to damage the motor shaft, do you have any thoughts on releasing double helical gear? The baza board gear drive system adopts this gear method.

For anyone who is struggling to get the gear to slide off the axle, try sanding the axle a bit right up next to the gear all the way around with fine grit sandpaper and eventually you'll be able to pull the gear off the axle...but what a pain!

how do you guys clean the board, do you just hose down the board??? can you use a high pressure washer???

If you guys offered a metal option for this gear, I'd buy it.

They do now, 3 years later lmao. I have it and it's totally fine. Not too much weight at all.

I just got mine and I didn't seem to find any bolts to attach the wheel to the hub adapter. Am I supposed to use the same bolts that are already on my wheels?
@TrampaBoards3 жыл бұрын
Hi Jason, yes you can use the same bolts that are already in your wheel
@ragnarok4003 жыл бұрын
@@TrampaBoards thanks for the reply! I wasn't sure because I know on the urban mount that I own it has a long bolt for attaching the slave pulley to the hub. I wasn't sure if it was the same for the gear drive.
@TrampaBoards3 жыл бұрын
@@ragnarok400 If you have gummies, its a slightly longer bolt, though with everything else on urban mounts it's the same bolt as the wheel but with a spacer. With the spur pulley, it's the same bolt, straight in, no hex spacer.

You could make a video by showing how to assemble the motors apart and how to wait/clean them... 😅
@TrampaBoards5 жыл бұрын
You shouldn't need to take your motors apart, try to clean them with compressed air!
@StrainHuntingBudtender5 жыл бұрын
I did it, but there is still very fine dirt inside... ^^ So I shouldn't use break-cleaner? ☺
@hansmaier4795 жыл бұрын
@@TrampaBoards So usually only the slave but not the motor pulley needs to be cleaned from time to time?
@TrampaBoards4 жыл бұрын
@@hansmaier479 Thats right. You can see the motor pulley when you have the slave pulley out though, best to turn it around with your finger and check for any damage!
