How To Service Your Car / Nissan 1400

Fully Serviced the NISSAN 1400!!!
HOW TO SERVICE YOUR CAR (step by step)
1. Buy your vehicle's specific Service Kit at any AutoShop.
2.Jacked up the Vehicle & drain the Oil by loosen the bolt on the Sump.
3.Replace the Air & Petrol Filters (very easy).
4. Changes all four sparkplug with an plug spanner or 21" socket. (Mark every plug cable to know where it must come when putting it back).
5. Remove the Oil filter with Chain Wrench or as i did with an Hammer & Screwdriver.
6.Close the Bolt on Sump & throw in the new Oil.
7.Idle the vehicle for +-5min than make sure the Oil level is fine on dipstick.

6:50 you have not set the spark plug gap. 9:23 You forgot the sump plug washer. 9:58 You can buy a tool to loosen the oil filter the correct way. Wat about the points and condenser, it is part of a service.

In my experience a lot of spark plugs come pre gapped, so just check the width and see if it's right

Put a lion matchbox in the gap if its hard to insert bend it open a bit if it's too lose bend it back so the matchbox slides in freely but also with some effort

Nissan 1400 are quite bullet proof strong engine and relatively cheap to maintain... Than answering your question yes they are good bakkies regardless year but make sure u buy one that's looked after.... And yes good on feul

Improper jetting can be the main cause or the bakkie is running too rich ( air fuel screw turned out too much a good starting point turn it all the way in then turn it out 1 and a half turns and from there adjust it till it revs the fastest at idling speed and then adjust the idle screw for proper idle if the car still feels sluggish adjust air feul screw out at quarter turns till you feel its running properly without hesitation if you smell fuel its too rich adjust backwards again it must be proper too little fuel and you burn the piston too much and you consume too much fuel)

Wtf no 1 is at the front.next person that is clueless will have the firing order wrong ,messy work no gloves, screwdriver through the oil filter is a lot resort,and you missed the most important thing, contact breakers (points) wouldn't pay you to service my kids tricycle, let professionals do the work,ignition timing probably out.
