How to Service your SUV Car at home | XUV 500 Full Service Cost and Step by Step Detailing

How to service your Mahindra XUV 500 W8 FWD at home
MAHINDRA XUV 5OO Full Service.
1, Collect all the material listed at starting of video.
2, Jack up the car. Note that it should be straight leveled.
3, Remove Stone guard below engine by unscrewing 10mm bolts.
4, Locate drain plug 22mm bolt.
5, Locate container below drain plug.
6, Add Engine flush 200 ml.
7, Run engine ideally for 10 minutes.
8, Do not accelerate or move vehicle.
9, After 10 minutes, let engine cool down for 2-5 minuted.
10, Drain out old engine oil by loosening drain plug.
11, Loosen up Engine oil filter.
12, Open oil refilling cap so mas to drain old oil completely.
13, Let the old oil drain out completely.
14, Clean out place where engine oil filter was installed.
15, Install new engine oil filter with filter wrench.
16, Inspect drain point and close drain plug point.
17, Refill new Engine oil (Maximile FEO 6 lt).
18, Now remove battery so that you can easily access to Air filter.
19, Remove air filter sensor grip.
20, Remove flexible connection of filter.
21, Remove top cover of air filter with 7-8 Allen key bolts.
22, Take out old filter element made of different layers of sponge.
23, Inspect bottom case of air filter for cleaning.
24, Now its time to replace Fuel Filter Cartridge.
25, Unplug fuel filter sensor at bottom.
26, Loosen up fuel filter by inserting filter wrench.
25, Put some reservoir below filter to avoid any spillage of diesel.
26, Install new fuel filter.
27, Loosen 10 mm bolt on side of top assembly of fuel filter.
28, Pump the assembly to remove air from line.
29. Attach sensor at bottom.
30, After installing fuel filter, install new air filter element.
31, Assemble air filter in reverse direction as disassembled.
32, Coonect battery.
33, Clean all the surfaces.
34, Check engine oil level,
35, Check for any leaks.
36, Fix Stone guard at bottom of engine.
Now you are good to go

Hello. Thanks for your comment. 1, Filter wrench 🔧 is costly on online stores. Better to buy it from local market. @ 50Rs approx. This wrench has 2.5 inch diameter to 4 inch diameter compatibility. 2, Yes I used this wrench 🔧 for both oil & diesel filter. 3 Service reminder can only be cleared from authorized service centre. @@Unseen.Journeys Yes engine ki life badhti hai, aap proper use karo , add karne ke bad car run mat karo, 15 minutes se jada car ON mat rakho , oil drain hone ke bad drain nut late band karo, diesel car hoga to castrol ka 5W40 fully synthetic oil use karo plus usme waxpol, safe side oil treatment add karo black smoke , carbon aur back compression problem hota nahi , petrol car hai to castrol part synthetic oil use karo 10W 40 gread. Ye sab product amazon easily available hai waxpol liqui moly, local shop me oil treatment, engine flush ye sab local hi milte hai branded nahi milte

Cover major electrical parts like alternator, spark plug grips, fuse box, ABS electrical wires and grips. Then use Total Auto Wash by straying it, not in heavy quantity, make one layer all over cold engine. Let it agitate dust and deposits. Spray water with hose (remember don’t spray with high jet). Your car engine will be clean. Repeat this process again and again, engine will look like new.

Yes, it’s synthetic oil. I service my car at every 10,000 Km or 1 year whichever is earlier. I flush my car engine with liquimolly flusher at every 5th service as every service may damage bearings.

People are still watching the video, couple of things to note. 1. You do not have to use flush every time you change the oil. If you're changing it periodically. 2. Warm your Engine for 10 min , the oil will be hot, don't loose the bolt with your hands, use the spanner or plier. 3. Pull up the dip stick to pass air when you pour new engine oil.

White smoke usually come from the dipstick or oil filling point from diesel cars but it is very minimum in case of xuv . Diesel Skoda or vw does throw lot of white smoke through dipstick point and it is very normal scenario !

Amit Vishwakarma this is the 1st time I used engine flush @71000 km at odo. There is not much noise reduction but yes it removed sludge to a great extend. I will use the same procedure at every 10,000 km

UMANG PATEL thats normal bro. When the car is in neutral there is still some friction between freely moving gear and the shaft that it sits on unlock position and this friction makes the wheel spin on a small speed. When car is on ground, the gear shaft will move freely which can not move car. In my video, when I saw wheel spinning , I placed it one stone beneath that spinning tyre and tyre stopped spinning.
