i will choose a quiet place like library, clear my desk, make a coffee and turn my phone to "don't disturb" mood to avoid distractions while studying. (My advice: I think using the Pomodoro technique is useful to focus.)

I, too, like Yasmin, feel bored when studying English on my own. I memorize many words, but with time, it feels as if I haven’t retained anything. However, after reading this good suggestion, I will designate a specific place for studying and apply the technical.

Hi there! 😊 You're definitely not alone in feeling this way-it can be tough to study English solo. But it’s great that you're open to trying new methods! Having a designated study spot can make a big difference. Keep going, and soon you’ll see progress! 🌟📚

I make myself stuck in a room with closed door while studying and distractions make me nervous. At least two hours I cut my connection off with my surroundings. Being concentrated is hard and takes time and energy.
@LEP-LearnEnglishPodcast10 күн бұрын
It's great that you're taking steps to create a focused environment for studying, but I understand how challenging it can feel. Concentration does require a lot of mental energy, especially in a closed room with no breaks. Try giving yourself short breaks every 30-40 minutes-stand up, stretch, or take a few deep breaths. This can help recharge your mind and reduce tension. Setting small goals within those two hours can also make the time feel more manageable. Remember, studying is a marathon, not a sprint. Be kind to yourself, and take it one step at a time! 😊📚

May I ask for the answer to question 1 in the comprehension section of the PDF?"
@LEP-LearnEnglishPodcast10 күн бұрын
Hi, yes, of course Jasmin learned that self-study is valuable for building confidence, independence, and skills that are helpful not just for school, but for everyday life. She also learned that setting smaller, achievable goals can make studying feel less overwhelming, and that creating a dedicated study space can help reduce distractions. Additionally, Jasmin realized the importance of having both motivation and a plan to stay consistent with her studies.

Hey , Could I ask a question about this video ? What does "caveman" mean ? I look up in my online dictionary , it explains that A person who lives in a cave but It doesn't suit the sentence . Please explain me ! Thank you so much !
@LEP-LearnEnglishPodcast10 күн бұрын
Hey! 😊 Of course, I'd be happy to help! The term "caveman" can indeed refer to someone who lived in a cave, but in informal language, it’s sometimes used to describe someone who acts in a simple, old-fashioned, or even a bit rough way-almost like they’re from ancient times! It’s often used humorously to describe someone who might be acting in a less civilized or very straightforward way. I hope this clears it up for you! Let me know if you have any more questions. 😊
