thanks for the info i'v been trying to figure it out on my own but failed. should they made it simpler. i think this camera had a lot of limitations i mean it has a good quality image, but the controls isn't that intuitive. and why the live view mood is slow when taking pictures ? mostly useless unless for video
@photographersfreedom3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching. The D5200 is considered an entry level camera so it is good for beginners. I think it goes a bit beyond entry level. It does have a lot of settings and takes a bit to learn. 🙂

@@photographersfreedom Aha , i see. i love it when taking pictures. but for video it isnt that good. indeed, it need time to learn. i need to upgrade soon. Thanks for your reply☺

Hi!... I'm in manual mode... Is there any way to change aperture as I previsualize/take the photo. The "+/-" button + wheel action only works in the instance you show in the video (with all the info in the screen)... Regards!
@photographersfreedom10 ай бұрын
If I understand you correctly, you want to be able to see the depth of field you're producing while taking the photo? I'm afraid you can't do that with the D5200.

Some time pics are not give the correct color can you please guide what setting we need to get a good result in the hall or room
@photographersfreedom2 жыл бұрын
That is to do with your white balance setting. You can either leave the white balance on Auto or there are settings for Tungsten or Fluorescent globes. As long as you know the type of globes used in the particular room, you can set the white balance for the appropriate one. If you shoot RAW you can change the white balance later in Lightroom or whatever editing software you use.

Hi, I have the same camera. Im a begginer. I was just wondering if the 4.5 is the least aperture in d5200?
@photographersfreedom6 жыл бұрын

carlos valdovinos So you are setting your ISO to Auto, and it's not changing when you change your aperture in Aperture Priority Mode? Is that what's happening?

Hey Rubabatul. What camera do you have? Are you using Live View or looking through the viewfinder?
@photographersfreedom6 жыл бұрын
Sorry, I just looked at what video this comment was on! If you're using the D5200 and using live view, if you don't have Manual Movie Settings on, you can't change the aperture when in live view. Go into your Movie Settings menu and turn Manual Movie Settings on. 😉

How I can achieve the aperture f32 in nikon d5200?
@photographersfreedom3 жыл бұрын
That will depend on the lens you are using. Not all lenses go to f/32. Using an aperture that small will not produce a very sharp image. Most lenses perform better around f/8.

Can I use Nikon 70-300mm lens in my D5200 ??
@photographersfreedom5 жыл бұрын
Sudip, judging from the quick research I just did - yes you can. You may have to upgrade the firmware on your camera to use VR though, as I think it is set in-camera and not via a VR switch on the lens.

why there is no wifii in Nikon D5200
@photographersfreedom5 жыл бұрын
I think because it's kind of a lower model. It is just above an entry level DSLR, so doesn't have all the features the higher models do. It is a shame. 🙂
@elgabote4 жыл бұрын
Just to add, there's a bug on the camera, when you're using the screen as a viewer, the aperture adjustment doesn't work, you have to turn off the screen view (so you see the aperture/shutter options on the screen) adjust the aperture and switch back to screen view. Really annoying if you're trying to film :/
@photographersfreedom4 жыл бұрын
This can be overcome by turning the Manual Movie Settings off. Go to Shooting Menu>Movie Settings>Manual Movie Settings>Off. Then you can change Aperture in Live View. 🙂

@@photographersfreedom Hi Barry! I have a Nikon D5100 BUT I have brain damage and have trouble remembering things. I just wish there was a camera setting that you could use that covered everything. I love photography and I love getting that special shot but when I hear all this stuff about having the right settings it is disheartening. Why can't photography be something that everyone can do instead of being a camera science? It seems to me that there is just so much you have to be able to remember when you are going out to do some photography that it takes all the fun out of it.
@photographersfreedom3 жыл бұрын

Barry if you could bring out a small booklet that people like me could carry with their camera pack that covered all settings like landscape, sports, portrait extra then you would really be on to something.
