Can you go out of DSP to a bass processor or would the processor not be used anymore❓

Okay im confused now, so is a Digi.Signal.Processor actually an Active Crossover or is this a DSP with basic Crossover & Eq functions?

This PRV DSP is an actual active crossover.

Hey boss thanks for the video I have one question so after you set the Hpf and lpf setting on the dsp you don’t touch those on the amp? Or still gotta adjust the setting on the amp? Or vise versa adjust the setting on the amp then correct with the dsp?
@Countryboy8270Ай бұрын
If you set on the DSP, you shouldn't have to worry about the setting anything on the amps

Hey man I have a question. I’m just starting to get system playing. When I have my head unit up to about 4 clicks away from where I know distortion is, all the limiter lights are flashing on my dsp. Input limiter and output limiters. I take it that’s not a good thing? Is there something that needs to be adjusted in the dsp? Thanks and great videos!
@Countryboy827019 күн бұрын
@@andrewdubwah it's definitely being distorted, I would just try turning down the levels of whatever channel is limiting. I mean the limiting is just preventing you from going over a certain point so technically it's what it's designed to do. Just probably clipping the amp some and causing distortion

What if i have a stereo that could push 4V RCA output , could i use the PRV dsp to match 6V input of my amps?
@Countryboy8270 Жыл бұрын
If I'm not mistaken you would use a line output converter for that not a DSP
@lirishfokeerah2055 Жыл бұрын
I was wondering if it does have this feature in it like audiocontrol ?
@Countryboy8270 Жыл бұрын
@@lirishfokeerah2055the audio control is a line driver and a DSP, and a line drive is made to boost the signal. I would get a line driver if you want to match voltage to your amps

Nice, I learned a lot . Just one question what’s pink noise for? Does it help with ground loop? I am currently having an issue with that.
@Countryboy8270 Жыл бұрын
Pink noise is just a calibration tool, I don't really use it at all, I'm having some ground loop issues as well. Could try running a ground loop isolator, or reground the DSP straight to the battery. You will notice when you turn the gain down on your amplifiers the noise will decrease, you could try lowering the gain on the amp and increasing the gain through the DSP also and see if that helps any. Let me know if any of those options help!
