In my case it works, but only for one time closing and opening my MacBook. As soon as I close and open again it will not play. Do you have an answer for this problem? Other than that really nice work and also much easier than I thought it was.

This worked for me, however only if I set the screensaver and wallpaper as the same thing. I was hoping to have an image as my wallpaper and disney 100 as my screensaver, but when I set them differently the screensaver assumed the image on the wallpaper. I just changed all my setting back. To those asking, there is no sound on the screensaver.

At least in the Sequoia Developer Preview, this is very inconsistent in actually working - at least from my experiences. I might keep trying and troubleshooting with different files too, but it'll sometimes work and then not at all. Most of the time, it'll be a black screen or default to the beta wallpaper.
