You don’t need this much stuff, or any at all depending on what you are doing with it. I only use three things. A power bank if I am traveling, a small hub because my MacBook and iPad only have one usb c port each, and I sometimes want to get files of an SD card, or I may want to have an external drive connected while I am plugged in. And of course the external drive. Do you need any of these? Likely not if you are not traveling a lot of don’t produce enough files to fill up your internal drive, or if you MacBook has more ports than one… It really is a personal choice. For instance I see no use for a separate keyboard or a mouse because I find the built in keyboard and the trackpad to not just be sufficient, but really well designed. To me the whole goal is to keep it light and portable, but I am not running my business off of it or doing any serious video editing or things like that. If you do then you might have a need for more extra stuff.

I’ve been using the Roost stand for over 3 years and I think is unbeatable for lightweight, compactness when folded and adjustability. The stand you recommended, and forgive me to say it, really looks like a toilet seat 😂. There are a few other good ideas for accessories that I’m considering, including the Zeiss computer screen cleaning kit, which costs the same as the Apple microfiber cloth, but adds 20 wipes and also a bottle of gel cleaner, so I feel is a much better deal. The UGREEN power back does look like a good idea. Thanks for all the tips.

Gadgets! This is an interesting video! Being a decades-long Mac user I’ve amassed several useful “tools” (as I call them) similar to what are shown in the video. DPI has nothing to do with smoothness, it's the relationship between cursor and mouse movement. 18.000 dpi just means for every inch the mouse moves the cursor moves 18k dots on the screen that's noting that has any benefit for most people for daily productivity. The felt smoothness of the mouse is more determined by the polling rate.

I agree with you on everything but not the magic keyboard, it feels like typing on a flat overcooked pizza, is expensive and oversized. the only good thing about it is the fingerprint reader. in my opinion, a better keyboard would be a budget 65% or 75% mechanical keyboard with silent switches for office use.

Ive debated on going with a Magic Keyboard as I have an Anger variant that clones the older Apple Keyboards but it has more of a clicky tactile feel but I love the Touch ID option.

I too love my Keychron K3 V2., my Minisopuru Hub for my Mac mini, Orbitkey - nest & desk mat & keyring - they are Aussies so I have to support them ;}, Alpaka pouches are my favourite pouches for EDC stuff & I use Zyron GAN chargers - they're great. I'm gonna check out the mouse you suggested - I don't like the Apple mouse or keyboard much other than convenience for pay i.d & I guess for portability. The TB4 dock looks great as well & will suss out your suggested pouches. I probs have enough tech bags but I'm a bit of a techaholic lol. Cheers for the tips :)
