Thanks for this. I've just been trying to figure this out and assumed I need to set the time I wanted it to come on, ie 20:00, and then set the second timer off at 20:30, if I wanted it on for 30 mins. Couldn't figure out why nothing happened. Going to try what you showed now, not sure I'd have ever worked out the correct way as to my mind at least it's not very intuitive.

Long shot but say in winter months if you wanted it to come every day at 6:30am heat the van for 30mins, would this be possible or is the timer a one use thing a bit like on a cooker as opposed to a boiler, cheers subscribed

Hey man. Could you test this controller to see if it stops counting down if the first setting is set to kick on 11 hours later? I have two of the rectangular black controllers and if I set the first setting to 11 hours, it stops counting down at 3:47. Should I be leaving the second setting "off"? Once the engine heats up on my van , I turn the heater off anyway. I have been setting the second setting to random numbers to see if I can get the controller to kick on 11 hours later. Is that what's causing my controller to stop counting down with three hours and forty seven minutes left to go? Thanks.

Yeah man, you need to leave the 2nd one as off then it will come on and stay on. The 2nd one is how many mins you want it to stay on for so if you want to turn it off by yourself just leave it set at off

@@vanlifesurvivorsguide I think I've tried that but it still times out but I'll give it another shot just in case.
