It's a beautiful tank. Beautiful video. But it's just so short. I would enjoy having something from Lizzy or others on the channel that aren't cut so short. The videos should be targeting 15-20 minutes I think due to the KZbin algorithm stuff, but I think for new hobbyist to learn information clearly, with explanation, it will take longer format videos that don't have a set goal in mind. I totally appreciate and understand that this type of contact takes a ton of time to edit. Maybe some techniques used in the audio industry can help to "mark" an edit as you're recording, quick edits, but generally produce a useful, easy to edit, informative video. Thanks as always for the content. Looking forward to the next one.

I always thought you need to gravel vac your aquarium substrate. Do you , can you in this type of aquascape set up? The tank is beautiful.

You shouldn't gravel vac substrate in a planted tank because you could damage their roots plus plants can use the poo and stuff that gets down in the cracks. I just hover the vac over the substrate and swirl it around as i go to get the stuff on the surface..

For gravel tanks like this, you need to add root tabs to the substrate. I have a gravel bottom tank just like this and the easy root tabs from aquarium co-op keep them growing amazingly!

In your opinion, how safe is it really to put rocks that large on what is essentially a suspended glass bottom? Putting rocks in aquariums has always made me nervous, but I tend to overthink things like that.

I have a 10 gallon tank built exactly like this. Have had larger pebbles than this in the substrate for about 7 years now with no issues.
