PEARL DANIOS EAT SHRIMP! - I've been keeping a tank dedicated only to Pearl Danio's and Cherry Shrimp for 4 years. I even seen one with a shrimp in his mouth but I wasn't quick enough with my camera to document it. Let me caveat this with the fact that they seem to eat only the baby shrimp because thats all they can get in their mouth, however, despite having lots of moss and hiding areas the Danio's definitely have an impact on the baby shrimp population. In recent months my last danio died and big surprise....my shrimp population is now booming! baby shrimp constantly swarming my tank like ants now. So in short, I kept Pearl Danios because they look so cool and because they are basically the least harmful to my shrimp....but they do eat them. Just the babies

If there a female the male will sometimes fight to the death,better all male, 3 of them just fine no need to 5 or more if you have litlle tank

I have a stand with a cabinet that closes but my aquarium coop pump still buzzed inside there. I cut up some coarse sponge in 2 layers and rest the pump on the sponge. With the cabinet closed its completely silent. Although for the nano USBs, theyre pretty much silent if you hang them in my experience.

I’m so blessed to live 20 miles away from this place. Need basicly any type of popular nano fish or color of neocaredina shrimp? Look no further. As someone who specialized in nano aquaria this place is hard to top. Also being able to hand pick out spider wood and rocks for your scape is priceless I have so much fun coming here. It’s very impressive that they are able to do fresh and salt water AND reptiles so well.

My favorite fish. I love how touchy they are. I have had a lot of different fish, and this one is the most touchy. It's cute to watch. They even stop and touch each other. They are fun and pleasant. Do not put this fish in anything less than a 20 long. They are explorers, and too trap them is terrible. Watch them before you buy one. They swim a lot, then hide and rest. 10 gallons is cruel!

According to Pond Guru, you keep the black sponge in the bottom tray, with a medium sponge or 6:23 floss on top, you then fill the top tray with just a good quality media. And he's the man.
