How To Set Up a Basix Lead Clip Action Pack! 💚🤓🎣

At Korda, we aspire to teach and help people catch more carp! Whether thats an experienced angler looking to add a new approach to their established armoury or someone just starting out and needing guidance in their early journey into FISHING.

Two main purposes for the creation of the BASIX range was to one, make fishing more accessible and second, to simply provide the basic essentials an angler would need to get out onto the bank and fishing 💚
.
One element of the BASIX range is the Lead Clip Action Packs. Inside one packet are lead clips, tail rubbers, swivels and enough rig tubing to set up multiple rods with a SAFE lead ejection system.
.
In an ideal situation, the angler will recieve a bite and safely land the carp with no tackle lost. In an event where some weed is met during the fight or a particularly aggressive fish is on the end, the lead may be ejected due to the lead clip system and the angler will be put in direct contact with the fish. In the worst case scenario, the line will part during the fight and the fish will be lost but with minimal effort, the tubing, tail rubber and lead clip will slide off of the mainline, leaving the fish with minimal tackle to get rid of.

are you using a second bit of tubing on the rig to slide over the end of the open ended swivel attaching the rig or is this extra?

Loving the Basix range everything so simple n effective and great prices. Tried the 15lb mono mainline and can honestly say it's blinding and never had a problem

Have you figured out that when the line is wet it wont pass through tungsten tubing smoothly without bunching up so makes using inline leads unsafe! 🤷🏽‍♂

Wipe the line, cut it at an angle and it will go through no problem! Unsafe my arse .

@@michaelianson592 Not talking about feeding the the line through or sliding rubbers over tubing! Line bunches up when wet and leaves fish tethered when fishing inline leads paired with tungsten tubing, try a shake test to free the swivel and see for yourself!

@@michaelianson592 The rig tubing will not allow line to pass through if a fish picks up the lead and shakes it head, leaves the fish tethered with inline leads, rig tubing ends up snaked up in a bunch! I fish fluorocarbon so maybe that make a difference over mono? Rarely do I see anglers testing their rigs because you would assume a shop bought product would be spot on, swivels often need pliers on them to make them work correctly! A quick life lesson! "DONT ASSUME FUFFFFIN"
