I did gravity fed when I first started. I went through 3 electric pressure washers within a couple of months. When I added a water pump I haven’t had any more problems when my pressure washer. And my water pump turns on when I pull the trigger and turns off when I release it’s not constantly going like the harbor freight one. I had that also. 😂 everything is a learning process. @@nelsoncasas6551 it pumps the water into the pressure washer, without it the pressure washer will stress out trying to pump water that isn't available so it will burn out by over working itself

Or.. or.. you can just buy the Ryobi 40V 1500 PSI Cold Water Electric Pressure Washer. Sure, you'll spend more and lose psi but it comes with a siphon function. No gravity feed trickery required
