Ayup Mark, I'm getting more & more interested in marine tank's after watching your video's. The one thing worrying me is the water parameters! Is there a meter to test whether the water is salty enough? Do we still test for the same water parameters as in fresh water aquariums? I'd love a natural rock pool aquarium the only problem is the closest beach is the humberside area... Hmmm no rock pools just silt flat's! Thanks again Mark for another fascinating, fact filled video I really appreciate it mate. The difference from the start to the end of the tank is unbelievable. 👍😷👍 ANOTHER BIG BIG BIG THUMBS UP ALL DAY LONG 👍😷👍 I prefer the LONGER VIDEO, I don't like the one's that have been edited so much it is like watching a Slide Show!
@MARKSAQUATICS3 жыл бұрын
You have to make sure all the water parameters are the same as the ocean water. All the equipment can be sourced very easily online. I'll do a video about this ok that will help everyone out who are unsure. Thanks for watching.

Heya Mark! What did u call the fish? They seems to do a fantastic job, has to look after some (or simillar ones) here in Norway.
@MARKSAQUATICS4 жыл бұрын
They are called mullet. We get them all round the coast here in Britain in the summer months. 😊👍

How do you clean the sand when the tank is too low to the ground for the gravel cleaner to work? Thanks
@MARKSAQUATICS4 жыл бұрын
I personally just stir it up it to the water column and let the filter take most of it out an then clean the filter.

Mark does the mullet jump? I ask because in Florida the Mullet seem to jump as a warning to the others. We see that behavior a lot when people are around shoals.
@MARKSAQUATICS4 жыл бұрын
No they're ok. I no other breeds of mullet jump like crazy when startled. 😊👍
