I started with a 5 gallon with fish but then I moved up to two 20 gallon tanks. Keeping fish and a turtle. It was so much work, and I think I burned myself out. Nice setup...but my dear hobbyist these aquariums are very expensive. I have visited 'Still water Aquatics' the products are touching skies. For one cube aquarium, he quoted 35k. The quality is good but We can get better high clear glass aquariums for 7-8k from other brands. The price is just for brand logo ADA & DOOA on it.

La Plata is a natural and neutral sand with no reaction in the water, also it does not have pest or chemicals. Normal sand is collected from rivers and are mostly contaminated with chemicals, detergent, and will have snails, leaches and even dragon fly larvae sometimes. If you do plan on using normal sand then you should do a proper acid wash

Uber expensive, mate. The tank definitely more than 7k the sand around 1200, plants could be 2k + Still water sells imported driftwood, so that piece right there is more 600-800. Low-tech here just means no co2. P.s- that is a good looking scape, though! :)

My suggestion to you is not to mix products, it is best to use a good chlorine remover at water change also if you have used Super 4 and you have like a powersand that will colonise the bacteria then you only need to add super 4 again after a month At water change make sure the water is chlorine free and the right temprature You can add Stability if you wish but if your systems are correct you will not need it

Depends on the plants, but say a couple of months, if you do water changes and add a decent fertiliser

So I tried many alternatives to try planting without co2 but failed more often may be be wise of type of plants or soil or lights ... Need your guidance for right selection
