Great ideas thank you! #1 - Themed Live Hangouts - book club, album listening party, 1x a month, consume some type of media together with a live stream (zoom) (1 hr a month investment) #2 - Live Q&A - low commitment, high value for patrons - let them get your opinion, get your inspirations, answer questions, you can have themed ideas (ask me questions about my gear, ask me questions about my studio space, etc)
Fans are either aspiring to be like you or want to learn more like you (1 hr a month) #3 - Commissioned Works - Exclusivity for your patrons to commission to receive exclusive work from you 1 of a kind work from an artist they love - write them a song, write them a personal affirmation (consider discounting the rate of the tier compared to what you’d normally charge) #4 - Requests - option for patrons to create requests (cover songs, open up the suggestion box either once a month or once a week) - give them a deadline to submit - you could even merge this into your live q&a, (patron asked me to paint this, and I’m gonna do it live while you all ask me questions, watch, etc) #5 - Drafts (access to drafts/demos of your work), outline of your new book, demos of your songs, patrons will love to see the process of what you do, to also inspire them to create as well #6 - Behind the Scenes access - photos/video diaries, behind the scenes of where you work, let people get to know the you behind your creations #7 Tutorials - How to make a loop, how to mix a song, etc (zoom screen share) - you will make a difference for so many people, think of yourself as their mentor, their friend, help them to be like you #8 Custom Merch - t-shirts, stickers, name your supporters, create a tight-nit community #9 Name Placement - on your album liner notes, on your website, In the thank you in your book, in your IG stories. Giving them a shoutout will make their day (hearing your favorite artist say your name will make their day) - probably for people in a higher tier #10 - Welcome Care Package - something special for people who invest money in you on a monthly basis (signed CD, your favorite tea, a poem, a book you like, etc)

I was very afraid of the rewards system, as I didn't have too much of a clue and it seemed not my thing at all. But I felt I could use most of the ones suggested in this video. My favourite was the one about the Logic, and the fact that you said that there is room for everybody! It was also good because I have heard that on Patreon, you can create, or you can be a teacher, but you can't do both. Unfortunately, I do both, so I felt that this gave me 'permission' to teach whilst in the process of creating.

I had a Patreon with NSFW stuff and it worked pretty well, but NSFW was not what i wanted to focus on so i closed it. Meanwhile i found that i love making comics and telling stories and also sharing tips and teaching people so i opened a youtube channel to do that BUT I AM SHY. I really loved the idea of talking to your patrons, live streams, Q&A and including them in the process of drawing and i got anxiety only by thinking about live streams. But i think the path i am on now will help me not only grow as an artist, but grow as a person :D Really nice content you have! Love it

that's up to the creator...i've noticed some will do a one-time personalized reward for a tier when someone initially joins, but continuing monthly rewards is ideal in order to keep patrons sticking around
