Looks like you got it goin on Mr. Davis. Just stumbled across your video when I was looking for instructions to restore a cream separator. Kinda odd that your channel popped up on the same day I sold old Hamster. He was 17 years old, weighed 1400 and I wasn’t able to get the cow out of him in the 14 years since you rode him. You have a good one and say hello to your crew.

Funny you posted this as I am on the hard task of sorting through my tack. It brings back so many memories. One in particular back when I was younger and had more balls than brains one of my first jobs was putting first rides on colts. There was 5 of us and 200 head. They always gave me shit for using a side pull. I always found it worked for me and they said it was stupid. So when is an appropriate time or scenario to use a side pull?

Haha you're a bit hoarder! Same here because you never know when that obscure bit might come in handy. The way things are these days, that one bit can't be found anymore. That's how you know you've been around awhile, when 1/2 your bits haven't been made in years lol.

I may have had the wrong impression of what you did at the place you just left. I was thinking that you were training colts for an outfit and that they were good ones as you mentioned in one video that you no longer had to deal with dinks, and I'm thinking you were not taking outside colts for starting. Now you have advertised that you are taking outside horses, but I understand you can be selective. Again, my perception was possibly on course with the Titanic. lol @@HorsemanshipAsAnArt

Depending on how long you have been watching you are correct. When I started doing these videos I was working for an outfit and riding for the brand in my comments. I left that ranch about a year ago and have been riding outside horses from then to now ( in truth have been riding them on and off my whole life). I made another move last week three miles down the road and am under my own umbrella and doing some fishing in advertising. Sorry for the mix up, I was not trying to be rude with my reply I just have manners like a horse lol. Thanks for watching and Cheers.@@barrynelson634

Rude? haha, you'd have to try alot harder than that. Yup, my bad. I thought that when you moved from AZ to Fallon that you were going to an outfit that raised their own. My misunderstanding, but then I was never accused of being the brightest lamp in the box. Really enjoy your videos, especially the one you're a horseback or doing groundwork. @@HorsemanshipAsAnArt

I like your organisation skills well done. But if you started learning to train horses to work bitless using body control, you could make back your money selling your hard earned gear and be a pioneer in training horses around the world. Your Young enough to do it. ( Imagine, prepare, train, achieve ….)

Thank you so much for the comment, the well wishes, the confidence and the kind words. I have been very careful about the bits I have purchased and every one of them gains value everyday so I can make my money back anyway. Further I am very fond of a hackamore but am not a believer in the bit less fad. I dont think I would be a pioneer, it has been tried at and failed at because bits work well. Thank you again.
