Brilliant video, most of my fishing is with a Ronnie or Spinner rig. Occasionally I’ll use a choddy in heavy weed, but this set-up uses my 2 favorite things:- a Ronnie and an in-line lead. Excellent video😁😁

You need a bigger swivel normally a size 8 one

It's suppose to be a little loose, keeps the rig safe for when you get snagged or what not. So the fish doesn't carry a lead around with it

Using a running inline in this style is probably the safest set up if you know about the breaking strain of your main line and hook lengh. If you have a fish on and hit a snag and the mainline breaks the lead is going to slide off with the tubing etc and their perfect for solid bags. I use this set up with a slip D or Ronnie unless im fishing in weed or deep silt then I have my own adapted style of the chod rig

If fishing for carp and barbel on the river I will opt for a leadclip with a gripper lead fishing it drop off style. Inline is the way to go.

The line that has the hook should be a bit thinner, so it breaks before the main line with the lead, that way you just have a fish with a piercing in it's mouth minus the lead. Plus the lead stays on your main line 😉

You want the length of rig tubing (plastic tubing) just a little bit longer then your rig. Hope that helps.
