I am so loving these Guppy Pond videos! (still sounds like you're saying "mud" guppy! 😆) Got a couple things I'd like to share 🤔. This year I've gotten into the habit of calling things "Phase I ~ Phase II ~ and so on" Just an idea. About the water evaporation. Floating plants will really help to cut that down. However, we are talking about blanketing the entire top of the pond 😲. Which is good in the winter. Also helps to regulate water temperature. (Have had a goldfish pond for years). The words you are looking for are Water Hyacinth and Coons-tail/Hornswort. I'd like to suggest giving these plants a shot of fertilizer to get them started. Upper Management won't complain to much if the ponds are producing beautiful , lavender spears of flowers! 😉 P.S. The pair of yellow guppies you sent me are doing great! ❤️

This will be my second year setting up tubs. I had a pretty successful season last year, but I appreciate getting this review. It's very timely. I have two small ponds going currently. I just checked the water temperature, 58°F as of this afternoon. I could potentially put out some ricefish or white clouds...

Man, you are timely. I've got two ponds of double swords. It has a leak. I just set up "manual hydroponics" with hydroton. Is mint ok for the fish to have it have roots in the water? I'm thinking about replacement with a black home Depot tub. And later I'll build some wood frame. I'd prefer to have a window as well. Banana and coffee with a splash of half and half. Weird, or yum?

I just build 700 gallon water falls, will add Gold fish. I use wood and old pool liner. with 1200 gallons a hour, pool pump for water falls. Nice shirt, 99 % sure i like.

So I just got my guppies and I was wondering when they will start to breed. Another question I have is do guppies need a bubbler? Another question I have is why do my guppies go to the top of the tank then stay still, soon they flinch. Is this normal or like territorial? They are all doing it near each other too. They do this sometimes not all the time.

What does everybody do with the dragon fly larvae? Killing them seems like a waste, but they are amazing little devils that will eat your fish.

I just died laughing when you said "time to acclimate them to the pond" and just dumped them in 🤣. Guppies are pretty hardy fish. So if anyone thinks its cruel, meh, they haven't really dealt with guppies before. My poor fish years ago, before I even knew about cycling, were some brutally tough fish. And I had a 20 gallon that bred all kinds of colors.
