I set up a contact form with a thank you page, the contact form doesn't give me the option to set up a rule. All I wanted was a contact form to capture email addresses and give the option to sign up for a free workshop, do I have to add a second page to get them on my list and set a tag to kick off the email campaign? I have a thank you page as well, I was able to set a rule on the thank you page but not the contact page form. Frustrated.

I'm not 110% sure but I don't think there's an option to connect a thank you page to a contact form (like you would with a regular optin form). First thing that comes to my mind is an automation where the trigger is "Blog form subscribed" and then select the appropriate blog/page where the contact form is located. The action could be an email or email campaign. (I haven't tested this though, so please double-check)

Thank you, I had to create an optin page, move it to the top of the funnel then the automation rule worked. Just creating a contact page to capture email only allows me to capture email leads, the email automation will not connect to that page. Nice to know, I am teaching systemio and need to teach what works rather than just what so many are teaching they leave out critical steps. I do appreciate your response. Be Blessed!

@@SoloMarketerFunnels Actually I am teaching people how to start collecting email and setting an email campaign, I was hoping just a contact form would work but it turned out the contact for cannot be set up in the automation, have to have an optin page, sales page or some type of page to start. They don't teach that in many of the trainings.

@@coachmarjean Yeah two different forms unfortunately. The contact form has only one real use (to receive a notification email that somebody wanted to contact you). The optin form (like in the last video I referred) opens up tons of different possibilities - subscribing them to email sequences, giving them access to a course or a community etc.
