You don't really need to restart the editor to reload collisions. If you delete the updated asset and undo (Ctrl+Z) the deletion most of the time it will reload the collisions for the model. That issue backdates to the Crysis 2 version of the CryEngine Editor.

In order to reload proxy, you have to delete and place geometry on the scene.

Hey FuturePoly, I was wondering if you have to be of a minimum age at the Online course? Because the most likely time I would like to start with it would be when I'm 16.

There is a button in CE under tools called "Reload Geometry", doesn't that also reload the physics proxies? Or maybe right click the object > reload?

I tried that but It threw some errors. It might work for other people.

Do you think that there is anyway to get cryengine as a "one-time" payment without being a company? I am new to the whole thing and i don't know where to start...

just download the Free Sdk 3.58. That's what I'm using in the video.

Futurepoly Thanks! I've downloaded it and i've been messing around with terrain building. I stumbled upon a problem. When i draw an island for example i get dark lines going through it like a grid. How do i hide those lines or delete them?

for proxy updated you should delete object and press CTRL+Z, this will reload geometry. Also collision proxy should be named $physics_proxy_01 (02, 03 etc).

You should put some more effort in your KZbin channel, you have almost half a million views, but no profile picture... Great videos by the way. I don't use CryEngine, but other tutorials are also useful for Unreal Engine 4!
