maya focuses like much in animations While blender is like both in modeling and animating Modeling in maya is pain
@AppNasty5 ай бұрын
@@FileName2 Maybe it's because I was taught but modeling in Maya for me is hella easy. Literally just WRE keys. Right click is a menu, shift right click is a menu. Done. I try to model in Blender and everything is so far apart to access it makes it confusing. Obviously if I spend more time using blender it will be ome easy. My son when he models he is hopping through all the shortcuts just as fast as I am in Maya. So it comes down to if you spend the time. Sculpting and modeling in Maya is pretty much the exact same as Blender. Capability wise I mean. But we use ZBrush to focus on sculpting. I prefer Nomad Sculpt on my iPad personally.

This is a great concept! It shows the difference in skill which is something so useful to see. You often don't understand WHY something works so well until you see it side by side with something made by less experienced people. I really appreciate you putting yourself out there and show how a lack of skill is no reason to not try stuff your unfamiliar with. It's a great mindset for developing your expertise. As a side note: What a great approach to engaging with your community by creating content not focused on your games. I really feel you bring something unique that many other devs don't and I wish you that it reflects in your growth! PS: That final composition looks amazing and I love how you've shown both your inexperience and your astounding skills! That sound design was - ugh! - so _crispy_

I think it’s interesting how this shows the different perspectives/progressions learning how to do animation in general! The 10 minute guy is just having fun. He’s not worried about the technically of it all, he’s just having fun. The 10 day guy is following the basic rules and making it look more realistic (for lack of a better explanation) simply getting from point A to point B. Finally, the 10 year chick makes it follow some of those rules (A to B) while also having fun with it and making it stylized.

All three demonstrated admirable traits, each in their own right, indicative of why they've seen success in their respective fields. Atrioc: Ability to maintain a humble and cheery attitude towards a hopeless task; not many have the character to direct and sustain the mood and attitude to be fun and entertaining like he has. Stephen: Wrestling with unbridled potential of what could be done yet not having the skill to realise it. Courage to invest time to learn and practice an unfamiliar craft yet still risk failure and poor results. Lana: Matured, seasoned skill. Being able to articulate the reasons behind why she does what she does indicates the years of dedication that've went into learning and honing the artistry of her craft.
