I just set mine up in the living room! quick and easy. i'm absolutely in love. I'm going to add some metallic sharpie marks so that i know when i'm getting close to the end and don't pull every single segment out before the spring clips snap into place, lol!

I recently had the opportunity to get an in-depth overview of the Cricket from Cajun Racer while attending the Yates Fall Hang. It’s definitely on my Christmas wish list. Very impressed with pretty much all aspects and as a current Tensa user, I’m looking forward to the comparison in “real life”.

Thank you for the kind words! Cajun is the best! I’m glad you got to see Cricket in person. Maybe we’ll meet you at HangCon?

How long is the setup for the new cricket? 10 minutes, roughly?

@@danwesson2485 much quicker! Probably closer to 2-3 minutes!

Is there a solution for a 12' hammock? Thanks
@YOBOgear Жыл бұрын
We will make a 12’ stand for a single hammock within the next year or so. In the meantime we will have our Hive stand ready to ship out by August. It hold any single hammock or 2 side by side. www.indiegogo.com/projects/hive-hammock-stand

@@YOBOgear I checked out your kickstarter product. Looks pretty dam good. It was at the last hang I was at at Trail Headz. Unfortunately, there were plenty of trees and I didn’t pay it much mind. Oops. I am intrigued. When is the kickstarter over?
@YOBOgear Жыл бұрын
@@barondavis5692 that’s cool you made it out to TrailDays. The kickstarter is over but the Hive can still be preordered on indigogo until the end of the month with delivery looking like August.

I can’t get mine to snap the hubs just fall off at each end. No snap. Is there something I’m missing to get them to stay on. I have them oriented correctly per your video.
@YOBOgear9 ай бұрын
It’s the little details that matter. Put top pole tips together so they are touching. Leave poles flat on ground. Slide poles into hub go to other end slide poles into hub. Go to middle and pick up assembly raise arms lower arms with a snap upwards at bottom while squeezing bend pieces toward middle. Hold together and set on side the. Attach cross cordage. Do not set flat back on ground until cross cordage is attached.

@@YOBOgear I got it set up but I’m in the worse environment. Cement and a hammock that’s too long. It’s barely off the ground. I need a better higher frame. It buckled on me last night on cement. So need another solution. I have a sierra madre Ninox with a rain cover and gear sling I can’t use.
@YOBOgear9 ай бұрын
@@MJGAZ64 cement is fine. Just use rubber feet. The Ninox will not work properly on any existing freestanding stand except for Turtlebug camper (which isn’t available for a couple more months)with leg extensions or a Hive stand.

This has piqued my interest. Does the ground have to be level or can the legs be adjusted independently to ground height differences?
@YOBOgear Жыл бұрын
Yes, each leg is independently adjustable! Here is another video that shows how it works: kzbin.info/www/bejne/f4Oqcp6bmpKVh7M

Nice little expensive for me at this point.
@snipereyes101 Жыл бұрын
It's a great idea but to be honest way overpriced. The price point on this should be around 2 to 300 not over 800. Emo nest has a similar setup. Weighs a lot more at granted but price point is 299. Personally, I think you will sell a lot more units if you price the unit correctly. Just my thought. I've been in manufacturing sales for over 30 years and trust me my experience proves if you out price yourself you won't make it.
@YOBOgear Жыл бұрын
There are many more differences than weight between Cricket and the ENO set-up. This price point is not for everyone, but our customers are happy to pay for this level of quality. In fact, we are currently sold out of Crickets and have a hard time keeping them in stock. So, "overpriced" is a completely subjective term. Everyone has their own priorities when it comes to gear and we celebrate everyone's freedom to make their own personal budget decisions.
