Hi Calvin, when will I be able to purchase the stand? I have a Ridgerunner Bridge hammock. I'll have to get the four items as stated in the list of modify items.

This model is actually the real : Freedom stand 🕊️✅ You've taken hammock sleeping & relaxation to the next level. And we feel we don't even need trees anymore but the enjoyment is the same. Because those of us who love & are use to sleep in hammock we know the headache it is at times to get the right conditions to set it up. This is just the SOLUTION to hammock lovers ( like me) who won't need to select places where to stay just because they want by all means to sleep in their hammock. Maximum respect for the job well done 💯 One love ♻️

Just got mine last night, set it up easily thanks to your videos. My little boy and I relaxed in my hammock until sunset. I am 240 lbs so I was nervous how something that compacts down so well would hold me. This thing was solid! I don't know how you guys managed to design this so well but thank you! I can finally hammock camp around the fishing lakes here.

Hi this is awesome. I have one concern tho, it looks like rain will hit the tarp ridgeline poles and run down and possibly start soaking the ends of the hammock. Have you tested this in the rain and Is there a water break somewhere that prevents the hammock ends to start soaking up water? Thanks!
@YOBOgearАй бұрын
@@randalgc the way it is designed. Water will run down the tarp pole and into the cup that the tarp pole plugs into. The back of the cup is open so the water will run out the back and away from the hammock.
@randalgcАй бұрын
@YOBOgear Sounds great. Man not long ago I got the adventure hammock systems vehicle hitch mount but the problem with that is when I get in the hammock the tarp collapses and gets all flappy. Something I didn’t realize or think about till I got one and used it. Your system doesn’t do that plus it can be set up anywhere and not limited to my hitch. Anyways this stand is awesome and will be impossible for me to pass up lol

Setup was wicked easy and it's perfect for what I need (hanging a Haven XL)! Soooooo glad I invested in this stand! Much better than my Freedom Stand which usually works OK, but struggles in areas with thick pine needle layers on the ground (which is a lot of the New England area). Now I don't have to worry about my anchors getting pulled out in the middle of the night! Thank you guys for this great improvement! ❤️

I am curious of this as well, my idea being weighing down the hubs between each leg, possibly with my pack?
@InsAznKlown32 ай бұрын
I assume your questions were more about the tarp actually, but this would help with the overall stability of the platform at least
@YOBOgear2 ай бұрын
@@movieman12341 it’s easy to stake the Turtlebug down. There are attachment points on the hubs to allow for this. How much wind it can handle is determined by how good the user is at anchoring. We found in sandy areas it is easiest to use the bag style sand anchors. You simply fill them with sand and attach them to the hub. The most wind I personally have camped in using our stand was approximately 80mph microbursts with 40 mph sustained winds.

Will the Turtlebug be any more stable than the Cricket? I own a Cricket. Really like the Cricket. However, I have discovered that whenever one of my cats or dogs hits the cordage on the corners, I'm usually seconds away from being on my butt on the floor with a Cricket stand on my head. For some reason, my cats and dogs either don't care or are oblivious. Would a Turtlebug be more resistant to late night pet attacks?
