I’ve done everything but it still doesn’t play on VR. I’ve connected it via the link cable etc, still only see it on my normal monitor.

@@luenicluke Hmm, that happens when you don't write -oculus in Steam>ETS2>Launch options, check if you did that right

i did all the steps but when i open a save it doesnt appear on vr, just a flat screen in the oculus (like you arent playing on 1st person and you play with a screen inside of your oculus) can someone help me???

Can we use any other PCVR headset? Like Valve index or PSVR2 ? Or this is only possible on Oculus headset?

What are your pc complete specs? Like cpu, ram, graphics card. This helps your audience have a benchmark easily. You mentioned 3060. Is it a 8gb or 12gb 3060?

1.50 with openxr works without an issue for me, 1.50 with steamvr is just a mess

@@Sp0rksta For me openxr in 1.50 is good but still far from performance in other newer games. There is still some stuttering especially im West Balkans dlc, but I agree that openxr is much better than steamvr

Do you have any tips for getting it as smooth in OBS recording? I can get the game to look great and smooth in headset but trying to record steam VR View it looks awful 😞

@@TheDirtyLime Well, I didn't try to record VR gameplay with OBS at all. I use Oculus camera app to record what I need

@@TheDirtyLime Yeah, with OBS your GPU probably doesn't have enough headroom to record video smoothly beside doing hard work in VR already. So better take the load off of GPU and let Oculus deals with recording

@@TriwinGR If ETS 2 goes to dx12, I think then would be perfect. For now Qiest 3 can give you very clear picture in ets 2, just game itself can't utilize multi core cpu to it's max so you get some stuttering

Don't use SteamVR at all, try without it or in Game launc options type -steamvr then. But for better performance I recommend not to use steamvr

I can play on VR, but the graphics are so bad it is unplayable. ETS2 has a terrible VR implementation in terms of performance, the only thing that looks good is inside the cabin, everything else outisde is blurred and ultra low res, no matter if I set the graphics to ultra. =(

@@felipesiedschlagyopan4185 Setting graphic on ultra wont do as much as scaling and base resolution of your Quest, so in VR the most important thing is resolution settings

The game works perfectly even via Steam Link, but the frame stutters a lot inside the game. I'm using beta 1.50 and I have to switch because it's really bad that way. The game is not enjoyable.
