How To Set Up Low Rates On The ZOHD Kopilot & Radiomaster TX16S

I have watched far too many KZbin videos about the KoPilot (including those recommended by ZOHD/sonicmodell) and you are the only person to say that lower rates in manual mode are necessary. Sadly I spent many hours working out how to do exactly what you describe before I found your video, but full marks to you for producing this video. I'll be watching your channel from now on as you seem to give more useful content than many of those who review rc equipment.

Your default channel order is arranged according to how you set it up in your "SYSTEM" menu, silver button over the top left corner of the screen, in set up at the bottom of the page. Double check that you are set AETR there. That will fix it

Channel reversal is best done on the "Outputs" page, Rates/Expo on the "Mixes Page" - Channel Order re-map also though it can be defaulted elsewhere, RTH switch position is a personal preferrence but in the default at start-up "Up" position you immediately have your plane waiting until the ailerons twitch to tell you that you have GPS lock and are fully ready to go. But the TX16S and OpenTx is so powerful and versatile why do just the boring way? ;-)

I have the copilot in a z81 wing..... When in stability mode there seems to be hardly any movement in the throws.... In manual mode it's like all they way up and down.... My worry is I launch it in rth.... It goes up and I won't be able to get it back down lol.... Unless I put it manual mode... Is it normal to have very small amount of movement in stability mode?

You mean control surface movement or not enough gains of stabilization of the plane?

@@thenewyorkhobbyist2931 I mean physical movement of the control surfaces in stabilistion mode..from moving the sticks on the controller... Not the reaction from moving the wing
