Fishing with Nala the fishing dog. I run through my winter fishing rig set up and catch so nice trout after changing rivers.

Rod/reel combo with fishing kit as an emergency setup kzbin.infoUgkxntWMOZsO1Zfv-pdn_XuffEtNkTYAYu4Z recommend but started to use this every day. The rod is thick and seems durable. I keep it neatly tucked into a regular backpack all the time with my fishing gear, and can grab it anytime, put it on my back and go anywhere. I just read in another review that the rod length below the reel is adjustable as well, so I will try that too for even more portability. Probably the best setup I've ever owned. I lost the cap for the eyelets, but no big deal since I still have the black cloth sheath that came for the pole and I use that. Very portable and high quality.

This is a fine product kzbin.infoUgkxLoZpKHn4w7dtzXk1eygBlOhbLxuVe3uD converted it to left hand ( a very simple procedure ) and it works fine. I now have two of these reel and am happy with both.

Gareth...I like that you didn't edit out all of the flubs and goofs from this one. Most of your videos make it look like everything went perfect, all the time. And I suppose that is what most people expect. But it is nice to see a video which shows that you also struggle with the problems that we all do as fly anglers...getting snagged, fish getting wrapped up in the line, losing a fish or two, getting wrapped up in your own gear. Thanks, another great video.

Great video again love them they are the best on the tube. I have a couple questions you said you could not show us the egg fly. I have caught lots of big fish with egg fly's I was wondering why you could not show us?? I was also wondering are the rivers and lakes strictly catch and release? That is all i have done for twenty years just wondering how they do it down there. great videos and music, very nice.

Great vid, it's always cool to see the rigs you fish with!! Just one question... Doesn't the thin 10lb bite into your fly line's welded loop when connecting it? I kind looks weird to not have that fat butt section for a more even transition from line to leader...

They can be fished in a variety of ways. I've always preferred a slight cast upstream and retrieve it on the swing, for trout anyway. Other species and bodies of water sometimes require different methods and approaches.

Is the strike indicator what’s keeping your fly off the bottom. Or do you have leader a specific length? I’ve only fly fished with dry flys.

Perhaps you should use your cellular telephone to record audio only, then if your GoPro doesn't cooperate you have the audio to add to the video you post. Depending on your telephone make and model it likely won't use much battery power (but a backup USB battery pack will ensure you're not left empty for power). Just an idea I had the moment you spoke of your words which were not recorded by the GoPro. I watched 8 commercials to help you receive a little more from adsense as a result.
