Thank you for this! So much easier than ordering Quick Disconnects from Motiv using the barb fittings and ear clamps. This is much simpler. Just add teflon tape and tighten til snug!

Thanks for the modification suggestion I went to Tractor supply and picked up the fittings you suggested and put them on the motive pressure bleeder and on my Speedi Bleed Toyota adapter worked out fantastic just did my clutch master and slave cylinder wish I had this setup when I did my brakes a few months ago it was a pain because everything was pipe threaded together and I was using the universal adapter that came with the motive pressure bleeder

Good idea, I’m thinking of adding a valve to use my bleeder as a transmission oil fill pump, could use those quick disconnects on the valve ends or fit the valve upstream of the quick disconnects. saves us from purchasing and storing multiple tools for the diy, thanks for the video!

i think you need 43 mm adapter that you can find online , motive does not make the 43 mm toyota adapter and i dont know why!

Use Motive dry on Toyota's. This will act as depressed brake peddle. The adapter for Toyota & Hyundai are difficult to connect 100% correct. Source : several brake fluid fiascos in the engine bay.

When adding teflon tape to any type of hydraulic unit/line, such as a lift or your pressure bleeder, where debris in the line could cause a problem downstream, you should always start your tape about two threads back from the end of the fitting. Don't let any of the thread tape hang over where the line is open to the rest of the system. And it is better to cut the tape with scissors so there aren't any stringy threads at the end of the tape. Normally I might not be this obsessive but small bits of teflon tape in your brake line would be a bad thing. I just added one of these to my Motive Pressure Bleeder as well. I also don't understand out why they don't do this from the manufacturer. Even if you only use one size cap it makes attaching it to the reservoir A LOT easier. Especially since none of them have a swivel at the cap.
