Hook up to your wifi with the hdmi cord? I think you meant to say you connect up the lan port to your router/switch with the network cable provided. And if you replace your wireless router or add a wireless extender you will need to use the reset button to start the setup over again if its been previously configured.

I recently got two SC3C cams, one was sick , and it has been over 6 weeks, the replacement I was sent was DOA and the wrong part number! Then they are the absolute WORST Customer service, I have ever had to deal with, and insulting, lack of English, only Chinglish!

@@sm8202 yes, u take front of the camera off, also its a big ass camera, i would say its too big, it looks funny on your wall. software is ofc chinese, changing its language to china all the time annoying the shit out of me. it has good quality picture tho. night vision works good too, but! any bugs flying around it at night will toggle the motion sensor ALL the time if you set one so you end up with tons of notifications...

@@SkyIsThere. thank you so much… so it’s working as it should however, it has totally mossed any car motions at the end of my drive which isn’t far away and as its a cul de sac i would like those notifications. I have wondered if all cameras are supposed to not pick up passing vehicles due to way to many notifications or is it just this camera!!

@@sm8202 One trick I came up with, is just to place the "motion squares" on your driveway and avoid the squares to go on a street. it worked for me. you end up having few smaller squares around your driveway and then the street should stay away from the zone. good luck. I cant remember right, as I moved out I no longer use this camera, but I think there was a limit of 3 motion zones.
