I bought the 2014 mini one convertible & already regretting how basic it is! No buttons on the steering wheel either 😢 No phone icon on the screen, no Bluetooth connection comes up on my phone! I can’t seem to find any answers anywhere. A car without music is like having no eyebrows 😅

Yeah its only for phone calls. You have to use either usb or aux for music

hi. i just had my head unit swapped out in my 2014 mini one because the LCD on the original unit had failed. The seller of the replacement head unit (from a breaker, so original equipment) swears the unit he sent was fully working, the mechanic swears he installed the replacement tunit correctly, BUT there is now no telephone option on the radio. The seller says that the unit needs to be activated through the garage's diagnostic/computer equipment to pair with the Bluetooth module, the garage says that is not true. So I am now stuck with a radio with no Bluetooth and no one taking responsibility. Can you advise if there needs to be a connection made between the head unit and the bluetoothe module? Remember there is no 'telephone' option at the moment

Hi I know this was a year ago but did you manage to get to the bottom of this. I have the exact same issue. Swapped the LCD unit - radio and cd works but no telephone Bluetooth option or reverse sensor beeps!

Hello from Ontario Canada! Subscribed! Just got myself a r60 countryman S -quite a fun little gokart of a car! I’m finding it awesome that I can extrapolate most info from your videos with the cooper into the r60 I really regret getting this style of radio- there was another standard countryman on the market when I was in it- however it was with the snazzier center unit! Soo cool… Do you happen to be aware of there being any way of replacing the old orange lcd center with the new ones just one model year newer? Thanks!
