Setup and use was very simple but now want to store for the winter and clean the filter. Manual does not tell you how to remove and clean the filter. It only tells you where it's at. Can you do a short video how to clean the filter?

Did you notice if just using the fan setting by itself caused air to push through the exhaust hose?

No that hose is just for the condensation drain

I have been thinking about getting this unit, but the apartment I live in doesnt have sliding windows. It has a crank window that opens outwards. So I have been trying to think of ways to install it.

Custom cut some insulatory foam maybe? Duct tape it up perhaps? That might work just make sure the tape doesn’t tear off your paint or whatever first

Get some Corrugated plastic sheet, counter from Home Depot. To make the makeshift ‘ seal ‘ or ‘ window ‘. Make it parallel to the window frame ( not following the cranking window that goes outward. I’m sure you can find a video on KZbin with someone installing one with a cranking window.

No, but make sure if you use this to have a larger drain pan than I showed, I’ve started using it more and a large drain pan attached helps regulate the output of water from the unit
