Does the device require a Wi-Fi / internet network to use or just power plug only to be plugged in?
@TechManPat3 жыл бұрын
You can set it up without wifi but to control it remotely you need wifi, and then to control it outside of your home you need internet and the app

Does it have to have an active internet connection? What I want to do is set it up at home, but, once set up, take it to where I am setting up a show that has not got internet available. So connect it to a " private hub " that my phone, computer and some of these power outlets and be able to control them with the push of a phone " button ".

Good question, it will connect to the wifi network which you are on, but you from what i have seen since it says local only, you don't need an internet connection to work. I can do a quick test by disconnecting the internet but leaving local network on.
