Just my opinion,but the original Evolution had a 58mm portafilter with the option of pressurized or nonpressurized baskets..It lacked a 3 way solenoid valve so you needed to wait a bit to remove the portafilter..You could also do the Rancilio Silvia steam wand mod on it..I dont see how this is an improvement from the original

Thanks for sharing. This is a simple to use and quick machine. Not the choice if you're into hobby level brewing of specialty grade coffee.
