You are a legend for this. That's something I've noticed very consistently with No Mercy mods, a lot of the tutorials are out-dated or straight up confusing. Sometimes people put out guides on KZbin, but they're often a bit half-assed and lacking crucial information. This was perfect. It would honestly be dope if you could make more of these for other No Mercy mods. There's a lot of people out there who love No Mercy, but can't get their head around installing some of these mods.

I just got this game running on my laptop computer recently and it is a real cool game too. It is also really awesome that my 3 top WWF legends are in this game and i am talking about Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, and The Undertaker. Also ... i don't know if anybody that reads my comment here has played the NES game of WWF Wrestlemania Challenge that was released in the early 1990's but if anybody is familiar with that game, you should notice that the Main Menu Theme (The First Menu Theme) from this game is a modified version of the Title Theme from the NES game of WWF Wrestlemania Challenge from the early 1990's and the theme music that plays when selecting the Arena to wrestle in and the wrestler or wrestlers to play as in this game is a modified version of the theme music that plays in the NES game of WWF Wrestlemania Challenge from the early 1990's when selecting the game type and the wrestler or wrestlers to play as in that game. I wonder if anybody has caught that when hearing the music in this wrestling game.

If you are getting the Break point found at error message, then go to cheats, and expand them, them untick them and retick them. It will stop freezing up when you use certain wrestlers. If the game is still freezing up, then go to video settings under options in Project 64, and switch video renderer to Open GL. Those two thing fixed all the freezing, and crashing for me.

OK now I need to clarify. I had no software to properly and/or consistently extract the files. They WERE folders, they just appeared as if they weren't because the icons we unfamiliar to me, but everything else in your video has worked so far. Thank you very much.

For anyone wondering, if you get the crash buffer issue, you HAVE to install the game in the c drive, and in no sub folder. Literally in the root of C. Got it to work fully for me.

THANK YOU! You helped me get the mod going. But it seems there are some bugs. Not all textures load consistently, and some textures don't load at all, only the no mercy mix ups. Can't get out of full screen mode without alt+esc. I can't tell if it's something I need to do on my end or if they are just bugs being worked out. Where can I report these issues or find out how to fix them myself? Example: none of the machoman textures work.

Clicked on the music tool. Opened the black window. Did not open a second window to run the game. Instead it opened up Project 64 and listed it as No Mercy. What the hell! Did everything u listed. Will not work. Cannot open a Rom because plugins have not successfully initialized ??! I did everything u said.

It's still a shame the majority of No Mercy mods aren't compatible to the Everdrive 64 (yet...). I'm hoping someday, there'll be a work around. As I've been enjoying playing mods on the 64. ^^

downloaded and setup perfectly. but Shawn Michaels and Marty Jennety textures won't load before and after i add the dlc and save file updates. and whenever i go over macho man randy savage or start the match with hbk, my pj64 crashes saying "Buffer Overrun Detected". i even went and updated my microsoft visual c++.... Not sure what i'm doing wrong, followed the steps but it freezes on the intro screen with Warrior and Andre on it and if I try to open the game without using the music tool thing, it just says ERROR and wont load it. Also no matter what I do with the installation the textures folder is completely empty. I've gotten other mods to work before so I'm just confused as to what I'm doing wrong here.

Hi, I would like to know: 1) Do I only have to do this the first time or always before playing? 2) In this game I would like to play with the ps4 controller. Since there are two controls for counterattacks, one for strikes and the other for grabs, is it possible to have one button for both controls?

1) Only First Time 2) No. There are dedicated buttons to defend against strikes and Grapples. This isn't Those new WWE 2K games. You have to pay attention to the attacks your opponent is doing. There is different timing for different attacks. You can't just spam the "counter" button. Think parrying in the Street Fighter series. Hope this helps. Happy Gaming.

Got the game up and running but I'm noticing a few issues (tried fixing it via save refresh but that didn't help) - the game crashes every time Outlaw Ron Bass gets involved in any capacity within a match - in the character select, Paul Bearer's profile image fails to load, and whenever I highlight Paul Bearer but continue to browse, Razor Ramon's profile image also fails to load up. - I've only tried King of the Ring once - played the first match through just fine, but on the second match - Razor Ramon vs. Ron Bass, the character meshes "blew up" and started scattering all over the screen, with texture maps strobing all over the place thereafter.

You said to open up THE rom folder and begin making adjustments. The problem is, is when I download it from the site in your link, there is no actual rom folder, it's just the single rom by itself, no folder in sight. The only folder is the music zipped folder, but there's not even a folder at all for the game. No sub folders, no music sub folder, nothing.

When I download the game, it doesn't come into a compressed file; when I right-click on it, it asks me to compress the file. Once I go to compress it; and then extract it, nothing comes up in the folders like you said it should have. The music file works perfectly, and I can extract perfectly.

Did anybody get an issue during the download process where the file was infected? Every time I have tried so far it says there is a boxer file detected and quarantines the download. I followed all your directions and then was overjoyed to see the Utimate Warrior's face. Just to find out that I couldn't control it. So,I backed out, configured my controller, and now it won't load. It just makes a wooshing sound and then I'm stuck on a white screen. I've spent so many hours trying to get this game to work and I'm honestly just sick of it..
