Hi Travis, from Australia. The ABN is our EIN number for the business. Though when setting up a sole proprietor you only have an ABN number, whereas if you set up a company you get something called an ACN number on top as well. Now when inserting the company registration number at the beginning, I assume you want to put the ABN as a sol proprietor, though what if I decide to change my sole proprietor into a company with an ACN number? Can I change this with amazon seller account down the track?

I’ve started the process for a professional account and awaiting verification. I had an existing LLC from an old address (another state) . I’m having some trouble getting it verified, I went ahead and set up a new LLC in my current state at my current address . My question is do I just let the clock run out on the first account and then set up with the new one ? I don’t want to get banned for already having an account . All they told me to update tax information, but when I go to tax information, there is only option to edit your details, nothing about changing to Business.

Hi - may I ask you, because I wanted to sign up as a privately owned business "type", but don't have an LLC. yet, and I've heard amazon doesn't like new business accounts, they want an established LLC before signing up. So I thought to sign up as an "individual" type, but there is a check box on the page that states "I confirm that my business location and type are correct and I understand that this information cannot be changed later". i'm alien no-resident in US, i got approved for my amazon seller account as a professional account, our company is LLC a multi-member with 3 owners , when i register on amazon it's not asked me for any information for partners?? and also when i inserted information for tax for LLC on amazon? How can I be sure the account is set up the correct way and will don't meet any problem in the future.
