I’d start by defining your brand’s identity. Try to come up with a few adjectives that represent your brand. This will help you choose a style of visuals, colors and icons. Then try to find a set of icons, Canva calls these sets “Collections”.

I love your channel and all your videos. I've been a Pro Canva user for several years now. I used your link years ago. My question is about the brand voice. How do I create a brand voice if I don't have one? I do AI for Seniors for fun and profit. Should I look around for other folks doing that, find verbiage, and rework it for my brand? I use Chatgpt, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude regularly. So, how do I approach this? I know this is kind of specific.

Hey there, That's a great question. How to find your own tone of voice, for your brand? To answer that, I'd probably need more space than this KZbin comment. But I'd say, start by defining your Brand's identity. That is the values your brand stands for, brainstorm a few values that represent your brand. This should give you a good starting point. I have courses about branding and personal branding that cover these questions on Udemy, if you want to dive deeper.

Thank you for this in depth video on brand kits. I have uploaded fonts from creative fabrica and they are in the brand kit section of my canva pro account. When I am in my document, I am unable to access my uploaded fonts. I am able to access Canva's fonts. How do I access my brand fonts? Thank you for your help.

The "measures" are called "Rulers & Guides", you can turn them on and off from the "File" menu > Settings > Rulers and Guides.
