@@BrandyDudas They don't offer this you have to remove them on your own. Also one thing I just can't understand why they did this. Mark as complete by the buyer for the progress bar to move!!? This is crazy for guarantees. Just a normal progress bar is perfectly fine. Two of my guarantees are to protect the content. "If you've watched less than 25% of the content and within 30days and still are certain theres so much value in here for you I'll give your money back no questions asked." If they don't click a button after each video I don't know what they've watched.

You can totally do that! The only thing I would say is if they are separate videos you may want them as separate lessons so that someone could mark it as complete and track where they are :)

When I click on "view lessons" or preview video, the video comes up in a zoomed in, big size. I would prefer the video to be in a smaller , zoomed out, easy to view size. I believe you do this in the site editor (it’s the brand colour I think) 1. Access site editor 2. Look at the top of the site editor for ‘colours’ 3. Change brand colour with the HEX code (My video on how to make a sales page in Podia includes this)

You can definitely preview but I’m not sure if that is before or after you publish! You can use the chat feature in Podia to ask about this one (they are really good at answering questions!)

Brandy, wonderful video... i just have one question... since you give a link of KZbin as your lesson video, the students can download it by using KZbin Download software easily. Then how do you restrict them from downloading the videos?

The video shows inside podia so I don’t think the students have the link. The other way you can upload the video directly to podia is by ADD CONTENT ➡️ FILE and then drag in the video file. However this is not going to fix the problem I think you are concerned about. I think you are concerned with someone stealing your content and the truth is that most people have screen recording software so if they really wanted to take your video they would be able to. You can add in language to your terms of use or copyright but honestly I just don’t worry about it.

Hi Danny! I use Podia’s email platform when someone buys my course or I want to send an email specifically about course content. For regular weekly emails I use Flodesk :)

Thank you SO MUCH for this tutorial, Brandy, it helped me immensely to set up my course today. I have a question for you - I'm switching platforms mid-course (so many issues with the previous platform, user experience was terrible). I'm going to give them immediate access to Module/Week 1 and I'd like for them to get Module 2 - 3 days later. I had to send everyone a "forgot password" link to get them all registered - ANY IDEA if it's 3 days from when THEY first login? Or 3 days from when I set the "start date" for the course? Totally random question I know... :)

I’m pretty sure it is from the course start date/ when they enrol in the course (you can also double check this one with Podia chat - I use the chat help feature all the time!) PS I’m sorry you had a bad experience with another platform- hopefully your students like this one better!

It’s a great idea to bring it online. I am not too familiar with the art industry but there is a site called Creative Market where designers and artists list their work I believe (some do this in addition to having it on their site)

I'm an art professor and I've been teaching 2 courses (Painting and Drawing) online with Canvas and Zoom for over a year now. I also need to redo my website right now and think this might be a good time to try and keep it under one umbrella where i can sell my courses and display a gallery and downloads. Any suggestions?

That's amazing! I love it when profs turn entrepreneurs! You CAN do this in Podia but I think it would be a lot of work setting up the gallery. Most people who have this type of set up have their gallery on shopify or something like that and then just a course platform separate. What are you currently using?
