I'm trying to decide if I want to buy this smartwatch, but there's one important dealbreaker. If I had music playing on a phone/ipod, can i connect the watch to the device and use it as the media controls (play/pause, skip track)? I don't want to play music FROM the watch, I want to use the watch to control the music player from across the room.

Hey there! Glad you asked! Yes, our Gen 4 smartwatch styles will pull open media controls, when music is playing from your phone. Our Gen 4 styles do not feature a speaker, so music would not play from the smartwatch. 👍

Hey fossil. What is the storage of FossilQ gen 4 explorist hr. I order a fossil gen 4 explorist hr from flipkart but received fossile Q branding gen 4 explorist HR and also I see that storage is 1.35gb instead of 4gb and also see that lots of china apps inbuilt in the watch. Hi there! As the Gen 4 doesn't have a speaker, you are not able to answer calls on the watch. You will receive a notification of an incoming call, but will need to answer on your phone. You are also not able to respond to messages, but will receive a notification when messages come through.
