the video capturing range is around 2m away from the video doorbell. i charge the battery every one-and-a-half month.

Yes You can. Once you have tapo hub set up add second doorbell on the tapo app. You can have upto 4 cameras or Doorbells.

It’s sub1GHz protocol hence needs a hub. Your router supports 2.4GHz and if newer 5GHz only.

I have couple of devices from this brand, cam, sensors, hub, usually working fine! But, I don't understand the philosophy of the software, hardware design support team. For example no chance connect smart button to external cam to do record if I use as a doorbell button. Or in this case If you have router somewhere else need to wiring across the all house, so it is weird a bit. Can't imagine how they get an idea on staff meeting, "let's do wired devices guys". Basically people want wireless life in 2024, not wired!!!!!!!!!!

They do a colour wireless camera which is wireless but does need a power cable! But had to return mine due to severe connection issues. Image quality was amazing.

you need a wired hub for this, not just your existing router? the storage is only in the hub, otherwise you need a subscription to save videos??? huh???
