How to Set Wall Length | DreamPlan 3D Home Design Software Tutorial

How to set wall length: on the Building tab, click the 'Walls' button. Under the Draw Mode, select the 'Fixed Draw' option. Type the desired measurement into the 'Wall Length' textbox and press the 'Enter' key on your keyboard. Move the mouse over the canvas to position the wall. Left-click on the canvas to place the wall.
Before adding a wall, make sure that you are using the preferred measurement unit. To check this, click on the 'Options' button, which will open the options dialog. In the options dialog, navigate to the 'General' tab, and then select the preferred measurement unit. Once you've made your selection, click 'OK' to confirm and apply the changes.
To begin adding walls to your project, click on the 'Walls' button under the Building tab. The Wall properties will appear at the left side of the application. There are two ways to draw walls, 'Free Draw' and Fixed Draw'. To set an exact wall length, select the 'Fixed Draw' option. The 'Wall Length' and 'Wall Angle' textbox will automatically be enabled.
Enter the exact measurement you want for the wall length into the 'Wall Length' textbox. Once you have typed the desired measurement, press the 'Enter' key on your keyboard.
To change the wall angle, click on the rotate buttons beside the 'Wall Angle' textbox. You'll see two arrows in a circular motion - one pointing clockwise and the other counter-clockwise. When you click on these buttons, the value in the textbox will update accordingly. Alternatively, you can enter the desired angle value in degrees directly into the textbox. Once you have typed the desired value, press the 'Enter' key on your keyboard.
With the wall length and angle specified, move your mouse over the canvas to position the wall. If grid snapping is enabled, hold the CTRL key to release the wall snap. Left-click on the canvas to place the wall, and you will see the wall appear according to the length and angle you specified.
The same wall can be placed multiple times. Note that the wall length and angle can be changed at any time.
If you want to create a room with exact measurements, click the 'Rooms' button on the Building tab. The 'Room Builder' will appear on the left side of the application. Select a room style from the list and enter the desired dimensions in the Length and Width textboxes located below the list. Once the measurements are specified, move your mouse over the canvas and left-click to add the pre-built room to the scene.
