๐Ÿ“Œ A Kubernetes Cluster is a group of nodes or machines for running containerized applications. At the highest level of Kubernetes, there exist two kinds of servers a Master node and a worker node.
๐Ÿ“Œ These servers can be Virtual Machine (VM) or Physical Machine (Bare Metal). Together, these servers form a Kubernetes cluster and are controlled by the services that make up the Control Plane.
๐Ÿ“Œ There are 3 ways to deploy a Kubernetes cluster:
โถ By deploying all the components separately.
โท Using Kubeadm.
โธ Using Managed Kubernetes Services
๐Ÿ“Œ A cluster is central to the basic architecture of Kubernetes: If you're running Kubernetes, you're running at least one cluster.
๐Ÿ“Œ A pod is a unit of replication on a cluster; A cluster can contain many pods, related or unrelated [and] grouped under the tight logical borders called namespaces.

Is it possible to configure the multizone k8s cluster using kubeadm method
@DeepakSharma-zj3xd
@DeepakSharma-zj3xd ะ–ั‹ะป ะฑาฑั€ั‹ะฝ
Yes, it is possible to configure a multi-zone Kubernetes cluster using the kubeadm method. Kubeadm is a popular tool for creating and managing Kubernetes clusters, and it supports the creation of multi-zone clusters. To configure a multi-zone cluster using kubeadm, you will need to follow these general steps: Set up your infrastructure: First, you will need to set up your infrastructure across multiple zones. This may involve creating virtual machines, setting up networking, and configuring load balancers. Install kubeadm: Next, you will need to install kubeadm on each node in your cluster. You can use a package manager like apt or yum to install kubeadm on each node. Initialize the cluster: Once kubeadm is installed, you can use it to initialize your cluster. You will need to specify the --control-plane-endpoint flag to configure a load balancer that can route traffic to the API server in each zone. Join worker nodes: After initializing the control plane nodes, you can join worker nodes to the cluster using the kubeadm join command. You will need to specify the control plane endpoint and any additional configuration necessary for networking and load balancing. Configure network and storage: Finally, you will need to configure your network and storage to work across multiple zones. You can use a network plugin like Calico or Flannel to set up networking, and you may need to configure storage providers like AWS EBS or Google Cloud Storage to work across multiple zones. Keep in mind that setting up a multi-zone Kubernetes cluster can be complex and requires careful planning and configuration. It is important to ensure that your infrastructure is set up correctly and that you have adequate redundancy and failover mechanisms in place. Hope this will help you. Thanks Team K21

Why we need docker,kubelet on master, please can you explain. I'm beginner in Kubernetes
@K21Academy
@K21Academy ะ–ั‹ะป ะฑาฑั€ั‹ะฝ
Docker and kubelet are needed on the master node in a Kubernetes cluster to manage the deployment and scheduling of containerized applications across the worker nodes. Docker provides the container runtime environment, while kubelet is responsible for managing the state of the nodes and ensuring that the correct number of containers are running. Hope this helps! Regards Team K21Academy

But the kubelet and docker will be installed in worker nodes and the pods will be monitored by controller and scheduled in worker nodes by scheduler in master node right?

please I have a question. How can I create nodes in a particular namespace? maybe using kubect
@K21Academy
@K21Academy 4 ะฐะน ะฑาฑั€ั‹ะฝ
Hi @thebestdancemoves, Nodes are cluster-wide resources and cannot be created within a specific namespace. However, you can control pod placement on specific nodes using node selectors or affinity rules in your pod's configuration. First, label your nodes using kubectl label nodes =. Then, specify these labels in your pod specs within the desired namespace to ensure they are scheduled on the appropriate nodes.
