Is there a place to buy a mobile table top tap similar to this?

We build our wooden ones in house however you can buy metal versions from Grumpyjoe.co.uk then clad the front with wood. This looks great. Otherwise we sell custom made stainless steel bars from £1500+VAT

I have a Guinness mount that is two taps but only want to use one tap but the product is coming out the second product line how do I stop this happening
@RentaKeg16 күн бұрын
Hard to tell without seeing your setup as there are 100's of different style taps. Guinness only makes singel fonts, so its its a 2 out font, its likely another make thats got Guinness branding. Please send some pictures to us via email and I'll do my best to help.

What psi do you set for co2 for your lager?
@RentaKeg Жыл бұрын
It depends on the temperature that you store your keg at and the co2 volume in the keg. We use slide rules to calculate this based on brewery specification. If you pop us an email with a rough temperature of your keg and also what product you will use we can fire you back the recommended psi

Great thank you! Your email helped alot. Just a quick one, how long does the gas line need to be from the regulator to the coupler? Also do you leave the gas on for the whole period the system is connected?
@RentaKeg Жыл бұрын
@@jagjitpanesar9111 Doesn't really matter how long the gas line is for a home install. We leave the gas off when not in service and uncouple the keg. You can leave the gas on however you run the risk of overcarbonating your keg if the PSI isn't setup correctly.

Great vid. I have had 6 kegs through my setup since building it. I used all new parts for everything. After getting loads of foam I bought 2x keg cooler jackets which helped. I used 3/16 piping from my cooler to tap. There is no leaks but I still get fobbing. My kegs sit at 8deg and I have tried different taps but still get foam. My pressure is at 38psi for 60/40. Although I got told to use 2 bar for a shortish run. About 3 metres. I have had madri running spot on for 3 days then that started fobbing. I know you cannot see the system but do you have any thoughts. Thank you
@RentaKeg Жыл бұрын
Hello. My initial thoughts would be a temperature problem if fobbing however you have covered that. Can you send me some pics of your setup to hello@rent-a-keg.com so i can give you some advice?

@@RentaKegwhy don’t u just tell us. For you guys to sort the parts, just give us a price range. How much did or would u pay for these parts and how long would it take to set up. Not that hard
@RentaKeg5 ай бұрын
@@BobGnarly420 Theres large differences in costs as specific beers/drinks, require different components, hence the need to quote. However as a rule of thumb expect to pay at least £1000 for a 1 tap system and up to £1800 in some cases with cleaning equipment, gas and fitting. Cost per tap price does reduce the more taps you have.

What’s psi would you set your Guinness when leaving the keg at room temp but using a cooler system like in the video. Thanks
@RentaKegАй бұрын
Guinness should be set to 35PSI, however you can up to 40PSI in warmer rooms if you find the product to be flater than usual, to allow for the correct gas equilibrium. Flow rate is 10-12 seconds for 1st part of pour. Head height should be 12-18mm. We recommend using a keg jacket for Guinness so you have better control over the temperature (which affect gas mix) and to improve the longevity of the product. Infact we do not install Guinness in semi to permenant locations without cold storage or keg jackets. Guinness is at its best 1-2 weeks however will last longer with a keg jacket. Also its important to have clean lines and decent glassware.
