The elimination of the virtual cam on the updated Zoom with Catalina. I have tried routes suggested by Ecamm, but none seem to be working. any suggestions?

Hey there 👋🏼 So I’ve been using an older version of Zoom. Not sure what version it is but it still works with ECAMM. Search for older versions of Zoom and try reinstalling it. I haven’t updated Zoom in about a month. So it’s at least 4/5 weeks back. Hope that helps 👍🏼

I’ve researched ECamm before watching your video. I liked what I saw but like all these other options it leads to analysis paralysis. Your video was clear, concise, helpful and a tad bit too long lol!!! The explanation of needing the loopback was gold. Confirmation of IG Live not working out of the box was wonderful to hear as well. Real world advice from a user whose doing the same thing I’m attempting to do is good. Confirmation that Loola is how to connect to IG is great as well. It’s what I used with success but you never know if it was gonna work with ECamm. Confirmation that my canon may work without a capture card was great as well.Overall I give this video a 9.5 and I thank you immensely for taking the time to explain all this in detail. You didn’t talk about recording the the live stream and if ECamm does that as well but I’m pretty sure it does. That’s why I docked you .5 lol. Again thanks and I look forward to my one year subscription. .

I used to do some live streams with my old Black Magic Television Studio. I would output to Flash Media Live Encoder and then out to KZbin. But FMLE is dead, so I started looking at other solutions. I tried OBS with moderate success, but I think Ecamm is the way to go. I've been a long-time user of Skype Call Recorder, so Ecamm is okay in my book. Thanks so much for making this video! Hello Henny, I like your setup and you got a great look in your video big ups. I have been in broadcasting for a long time and it's good to see you are doing a first class job with live streaming. I did my first live stream in the late 80's (audio only) Have you thought about using a new mixer to help with other audio inputs instead of the loopback software solution? I know you are saying man that's old school. LOL It's works. there are some great mixers now that include bluetooth and USB that can go right into your mac. You have a new fan. keep moving forward.

Thanks for the video! It looks really nice! I just bought a ATEM Mini from Blackmagic, that has 4 HDMI inputs 1 HDMI/usb output that appears as a virtual camera. It speeds up everything up!
